Everything in the new zombies just seems to be random. I really don't think they put that much effort into the story of it. So I don't think the Thunder Gun has a real origin I think someone at Treyarch must of thought it was a good idea for a gun and thats about it really.

My best theory is that it they turned element 115 into a gas and pressurized it into bullet like rounds. When fired, the gun releases the high pressured gas through the front of the gun. There is no real explanation behind the gun yet, but I predict that 3arc has something up their sleeve with it .

It's made from some of the 115 Meteor itself. That's what you see glowing when you have the Thundergun. The gun's design is to make a powerful blast of concentrated wind.

Good theory, but I think that glowing in the gun's magazine is the 115 Meteorite itself. In the gun's chamber design (Where the bullet or wind comes out) Shoots out the 115. It's force is so mighty, it creates blasts of Hurricane Katrina winds in a vicinity.

You do realize we're talking about a weapon from a game right? Honestly, you're right that it produces a shockwave. But honestly, which can kill you, a shockwave or a sonic boom? Yeah... Exactly. We don't need a whole essay of how the gun works, we want to know how it was made, who made it, how it shoots. It's amazing how a whole essay only managed to answer just 1 of the 3 questions. I assume by your name that you're smart, but we don't need extreme educational responses. The Windlike wind that immediately follows after a shockwave is brief but extremely intense. So you could say that the thunder gun shoots shockwaves, but the windlike blah blah like i said is possible to be the windlike winds you see when you shoot it. So the thundergun is like a portable bomb.

I have no argument on most of what you said, but...I won't post a theory based on observation without explaining and giving a solid example.

So I accept your critisism, - the fact that you are finding fault for providing a thorough and intelligent response.

I personally think the ammo it takes are CD's some how made with element 115 and the guns a huge subwoofer, or it might just be possible that they compressed chuck norris's explosive gasses.
