I know this thread will probably get flamed but If you take the time to read what I say and think about it then you will understand my concern.

Mainly everyone who did the Splitscreen Xp glitch has been banned and then reset. Now think about it, maybe treyarch has us right where they want us?

Not pointing the finger at all but imagine The Snake who posted the thread worked for Treyarch. Just becuase he posts it and it seems awesome doesnt mean we wont all get banned. Treyarch could easily set something up on purpose to catch us out.

If I set up a thread about how to get to any prestige easily I bet almost everyone here would do it right? Well how do you know that I wasnt working for treyarch and was telling you the glitch to catch you out. As soon as you do it yeah it works and your 15th prestige, but your instantly logged on the server and you get banned!!

Since treyarch are getting serious now It wouldnt surprise me if they tried this. They have accounts on every site. How easy would it be to set up a glitch to catch us all out?

The prestige exploit has not banned nearly as many people as the splitscreen, and prestige hacking is the most obvious exploit. Yet we do a simple splitscreen boost and Bam!! we all get banned and reset.

All I'm trying to say is that we need to be a lot more careful. Treyarch arnt stupid and they are taking action. If someone posts a new groundbreaking exploit then we all shouldn't rush in and do it, cos it could be a set up.

I know some of you who dont care will just flame this but please take the time to think about it and to actually listen to what I'm saying.

They ban us for ranking up quick yet they dont ban people that go to 15th prestige? its stupid how they do nothing about people who just go straight to a high rank yet we spend couple hours boosting we get banned and reset. Its a piss take.

This theory is anything but win. It's a very big fail, as a matter of fact.

Take for example this .. How would Treyarch and their staff members know which person does the prestige glitch/XP glitch exploit?

How would they figure out the PSNs or Jtags? Through people replying back to the thread?
No.

If everyone pooled their little brain cells together and realized that for the majority of the members on this site, if you simply clicked their profile, you'll come up with their PSN or JTag.

So if anything, you guys are bringing about your own downfall.
Maybe if your PSN/Jtag wasn't listed on your profile, maybe they wouldn't find out unless you've posted it public elsewhere.

We arnt talking about replies on threads we are talking about like a tripwire in the exploits and that they could set these up themselves to catch us out. As soon as we do the glitch we will get banned after since they have seen that we have "tripped the wire".

The moment you do a glitch/exploit any game, you risk your account of being banned.
You can't just think that you can do whatever you wish to a game and never suffer any consequences.
I think this a logical thought that would back itself up in many ways.
So it's not that whether they "tripped" the glitches they've set or not, it's whether you plan on exploiting them for your own personal use and taking your risks at it.

I'm putting it into the users choice though Mark. If they feel they won't get banned, I say let them. I'm not afraid of 3arc so I'll still do it. Many people won't do it now though. But thats ok. Its reasonable. Scaring people by unjustified banning is 3arc's new method now. And a lot of people are letting them win. I say if they ban you, make another account and do it over again. So instead of scaring us they can fix it.
