But seriously I've gotten killed by BS knife and killed people with it, leave it alone. I mean what constitutes "BS"? I'm sure every who plays this game feels "cheated" at some point or another but that's human nature. I mean a lot of factors go into kills and death INCLUDING LAG. So to act as the Knife is some huge deal breaker with this game is comical.

I get your opinion though. I mean I am a shoot first guy even when it comes to close up. But they people who want to make Knife a 2 hit Melee or take it out entirely should really STFU, it's a death lets just deal with it.

You damn right that would piss me off, I would be heated and cussing....Difference is, I wouldn't run to an online forum begging to get the knife nerfed. Especially since that's not an every day occurence.

Again I'm not denying that the knife is annoying, but asking to have something like that knifed or removed is lame. I mean it's not like if they knife was nerfed my K/D would move up or down at all

WOW theres been times ive got stabbed but dont nerf it gollie.Cods knife was a lunge but managable .WaW knife was the most balanced.Mw2 just turned the game into guns and swords. Black ops isnt that bad to me reminds me more of the cod4 lunge.

At least make it where u must pull it out.Say you have no bullets...u have to runout on someone and stab them twice??? If some one knifes u they earned that kill.U really let your enemy get that close ?

Nerf the whole idea of a 2 hit kill knife please. Its perfect for flanking without then enemy knowing what hi.... stabbed them.

It isn't lame if anyone can get a kill by standing 5'-6' away from someone while facing a little off to the left or right and pushing one button just once, and if it happens more than once (It does happen, and every day) it could make the game very frustrating and thus push the user(s) toward getting it fixed. I've seen a bunch of people, myself included, say that Treyarch pulled off a little lie...the lie being "The perk 'Commando' isn't in Black Ops. (But the features of the perk are.)" Your K/D could potentially go up or down. If someone tries to knife you with the nerfed knife and miss like it should, then you could get the kill. If that happens many times then it will go up. The opposite result would occur if it was you doing the knifing. I don't care if it gets nerfed or not but it could potentially stop me or someone else from throwing a controller at the T.V. on impulse/accident.

Anyone can do it??? I've never lunged 5-6 feet to kill somebody. Like I said it's an annoying death. Hell the RC car and 2nd Chance are VERY annoying deaths, but they ain't patching those.

We agree, it is a very very annoying thing, where we disagree is I think asking to have a knife that according to you EVERYBODY can lunge with patched is lame to cry about getting patched. At least with knife they have to be "5-6" ft away. With that damn RC car they could be hiding across the map. And I've seen a person in 2nd Chance kill me from across the map with a handgun.

However I didn't run to ask to get it patched because I felt like a noob for getting killed by him, and I'd feel even more like a noob asking for a patch.

That's just it. The RC-XD and Second Chance are annoying...

Second Chance: Anticipation and agility. (Be prepared to aim down, jump in the air, strafe...)

That's the point with the RC-XD car, being able to kill someone across the map by using a vehicle. What next?..patching/removing all aerial killstreaks because they can kill people while you hide in a corner with a laptop out?
Second chance is what it is...a "second chance" at killing the person who downed you. Not a "second chance but you might as well just give up because you can't kill anyone with a pistol." Asking for a patch isn't something just noobs do. MW2's Model 1887s were way too overpowered and people were getting bullshit deaths all over the place. Obviously the people using them enjoyed them and didn't want a patch. The majority of players brought it to IW's attention for a patch.

Also, you said you'd feel more like a noob asking for a patch, but you're here on a message board saying one thing doesn't need a patch and another does...just saying.

I am guessing you don't use the RC car and you want it fixed for selfish reasons?
