People love using the word Ironic here a lot huh?
How can someone be bad at knifing? Well for starters they could hit the wrong button in a panic, they could have a shoot first mentality when they should knife or they could try to knife from too far out and get killed. So maybe they aren't "bad" at it but they aren't pro knife users lunging all day.
And let's be honest, chances are a good percentage of people who want the knife patched are the ones getting killed by those lunges. I mean there are some who do the lunging and want it patched but honestly how many people beast with something that want it patched? "Oh may this M60 is too much of a beast, I am beasting with this gun, they need to patch this"
Chances are if you want something patched you are the victim of it's "overpowered-ness". All I'm saying is I'm not a knife first person myself but I rarely get these lunges people are complaining about. I die by RC Car, AK74u, or that damn Crossbow as far as annoying deaths go. Maybe I'm wrong for comparing these complaints to MW2 complaints too. It's like in MW2 you had to worry about those OMA and Noobtube bums, which when you think about it makes asking for a knife nerf sound all the more lame. But if they make it like MW2 knife without Commando then we should all be happy, AmIright?
I was being sarcastic saying IF they should patch something it'd be the RC Car and that would be by making it higher KS.
I hate the RC Car, the difference is I don't think it needs a patch. All I did is say the RC Car is more annoying. Maybe I don't run around with AK74u like some might so I don't get lunge killed as much.
So lets review, I think the RC Car, 2nd Chance and Occasional knife death is annoying but where there is NO irony is unlike you guys I don't want any of those things patched, I play the game and don't nitpick.

My post holds no irony for two reasons.
1.) I actually don't think anything needs patching. Not the knife, RC Car, Gost or any other thing people wanna moan about.
2.) Wouldn't IRONY be if I said I hated the RC Car yet it was one of my killstreaks???
I'm pretty sure that's irony not saying IF they should patch one thing and not another.

Ok, well the way you said "FIX that damn noob RC car" didn't sound very sarcastic, not that it's easy to see sarcasm through words on the screen anyway... Personally I wouldn't care if they didn't fix knifing. I don't go write threads up on here, the official forums, or twitter complaining about it, but if they do tweak knifing causing less of annoyance, fine by me.

Imo if you remove the lunge it would fix most problems with the knife and go back to the standard no problem.
On top of that fix the lag issues that right now the game messy with lag and makes stuff look worse.
Knife a good example.
That said am unsure if the knife lunge is that bad due to the knife lunge or lag.
Yet to see somebody compare knife offline to online private game to a public game.
Oh well just hope trey does what needed and does not listen to net noise and change the wrong thing.

I assumed panic knifing had to deal with an enemy getting shot by you, and instead of firing back, knifes you. Regardless that he was just shot 2-3 times, he kills you because of 1) lunge distance, 2) lag problems, 3) the combination of the formers. This is obviously a problem because the shooter did not miss, practically did nothing wrong other than get knifed from a considerable distance. The knifer on the other hand, got shot multiple times, and because there is little repercussions from getting shot (not killed), was able to lunge knife for a kill.
Either way, I still think that if you are flinched, that it should affect your knifing. It affects your shooting by altering your aim...why not the knifing?
For more clarity, I guess it wouldn't be called "flinching." Let's say, if the person was to be "flinched" (if he had been aiming down the sights) that at that very brief moment, he cannot use the knife. Some sort of audio clue would have to be implemented so as to avoid confusion that the knife did not occur for other reasons.
