Post: HELP! Black Ops Multiplayer Freezing!
12-13-2010, 02:09 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); But my problem isn't just normal freezes. Yeah my game will freeze every once in a while, but when I load up multiplayer, I can't do ANYTHING for a minute or two. I can't find a game and I can't join a friends party. I have to sit in my party for a minute or so doing nothing. Eventually my game will "unfreeze" and it will allow me to find games and join my friends. This happens in Zombies as well, I can't join or find a game in MP and in Zombies. It's a real pain in the butt because if I wanna switch over to zombies and join a friends game really quick before they start, I have to wait a minute or two before I can join. Or if I want to load up MP and quickly join a friend, I have to wait a minute. Does anyone else have this problem, and is there a solution? This all started just a couple of weeks ago, completely random. :(

Edit: My internet connectivity is fine, and once it loads I have no problems than other it randomly kicking me out, which is does for everyone. When I first load up MP, it doesn't show my rank.

Back out and go back into player match your rank should load I have the same issue. Also sometimes it takes a few back outs but its a hell of a lot faster than waiting 2 minutes.

Just reboot the ps3, clean the disk, don't start controller 2 when you start multiplayer.
If that doesn't fix it, I'd just leave my ps3 on until I go to bed.

well what I do is just back out and join a few times and it should wear off

Backing out and joining seems to do the trick, it lowers my framerate a lot but it picks up once it shows my rank. Thanks for the advice, hopefully Treyarch will patch this.

Sorry for the double post, but I'm having the same problem again! Last time it was solved by the 1.04 patch, but now since I opened my ports it's happening again. I've tried deleting my game save date and my game date from my PS3, but it doesn't solve anything. Please help, thanks.

Buy a xbox360 and all your problems will dissapear, I don't even play on ps3 anymore because of the problems you're mentioning but not as severe... I heard that the Black Ops server was created by Microsoft for Treyarch. Not saying it's true but that's what I heard...
