Post: HELP! Black Ops Multiplayer Freezing!
12-13-2010, 02:09 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); But my problem isn't just normal freezes. Yeah my game will freeze every once in a while, but when I load up multiplayer, I can't do ANYTHING for a minute or two. I can't find a game and I can't join a friends party. I have to sit in my party for a minute or so doing nothing. Eventually my game will "unfreeze" and it will allow me to find games and join my friends. This happens in Zombies as well, I can't join or find a game in MP and in Zombies. It's a real pain in the butt because if I wanna switch over to zombies and join a friends game really quick before they start, I have to wait a minute or two before I can join. Or if I want to load up MP and quickly join a friend, I have to wait a minute. Does anyone else have this problem, and is there a solution? This all started just a couple of weeks ago, completely random. :(

Edit: My internet connectivity is fine, and once it loads I have no problems than other it randomly kicking me out, which is does for everyone. When I first load up MP, it doesn't show my rank.

You come here and tell me to GTFO when it's not even my theory that I am passing on when in reality you are not helping anyone with ANYthing. So you can get out. I'm doing nothing wrong...

You're not helping me with my problem, so therefore you are doing something wrong, and you aren't providing anything stimulating to this conversation. Don't bother responding unless you have a possible solution. (Besides me buying an xbox.)

I feel like I'm probably the only person in the world who is having this problem and can't seem to solve it. I've looked through the depths of google, and I've found nothing. Does anyone have a solution? I've tried deleting my data. Seems like the problem has something to do with my router settings. Like I said, I recently enabled the DMZ and enabled some static DNS's to open my ports. However I think the DMZ opened my ports for me, not the DNS. Any help would be appreciated.

Try setting your NAT type to being open you can find tutorials on that on youtube. Don't worry I won't talk in your thread anymore. If I had help for you I would have quoted you that's why I quoted someone else. You're not the only person with this problem and you shouldn't be relying on google for everything... lol and I don't think google has "depths" but I can see you're very dramatic. Next time IF i am addressing you I will be sure to quote you.

Here's a list of tutorials you can find the best one for you;

As I said in the original post and the one you just quoted, I have already opened my ports.

Then that sucks i'd say try it again and make sure you change the number to something high enough...or maybe get a better upload/download speed from your service provider

Or you can listen to me with my first post about how the game is better for 360. If you don't want to take my word then maybe you'll listen to the 9000+ people who signed this petition demanding a refund for their PS3 version because "the game is 'inferior' to the Xbox 360 version".

But you're the ONLY one having this problem right? Next time dig deeper into google.
