Anyway... With packet sniffing you can intercept data send on your internet. So if you setup your ps3 to use a proxy, and your computer (ofc with a sniffer) the ps3 proxy software, wouldnt it be possible to intercept anything?
I dont know anything about possible encrypton etc cause im not that tech. So if anyone has experience with "Wireshark" maybe YOU could try something?

I'm gonna answer that for ya u cant cause it aint the PC i have experience with things like that but u cant i've already tryed with CoD 5, CoD 6, CoD 7 and only CoD 4 worked i've intercep the servers of demon ware but i cant modify it so hope i've answered ur question about Packets.

The packets between your Xbox and Xbox Live are encrypted, and would be nearly impossible to crack.

That just leaves things such as GPD mods that give you 50,000 XP per kill. But these work at the Application Layer, not at the Network Layer. In certain modes like Local Splitscreen and Combat Training, the COD servers trust the host (this cuts back on load on their servers and also makes these modes more vulnerable to hack).
