There's a song in every heart and a smile on every face. A magic sort of joy permeates the air, seeming to make every light twinkle just a bit brighter. It's the most magical time of the year ... at Activision.
That's right, it's time to count the Call of Duty money! Don't be surprised if this year's festivities take us into the new year, though, as the company announced that its latest iteration, Call of Duty: Black Ops, has brought in One. Billion. Dollars.
The only other entertainment product in history to get the big B this quickly? James Cameron's Avatar.
Sometimes, it can be hard to visualize amounts this large, so here's some perspective to help you understand just how much a billion dollars is: Any person on our staff would kill you in cold blood for a thousandth of it.
