I need help for modding black ops.
So far I have modded the t5mp_ps3f.self for killstreak reduction (as a test). I disabled jumping (which sucked Happy).
I want to mod zombies and I know that you have to mod the EBOOT.BIN but is their anyone who could help me in detail.
For example in the t5mp_ps3f.self i want to mod jump_height
i know that jump_heights original value is "39"
but in IDA pro i cant find "39" near jump_height atall.
I dont know PPC coding but my dad does and he doesnt know either?
Can anyone help?
thanks Cool Man (aka Tustin)

Yes... you are... you don't search for the actual name of the DVAR...
Go to this thread You must login or register to view this content. look for where it says "Values Found Here" copy paste those offsets into HxD(recommend) and change the values that follow accordingly.

I will try to give a tut on how to access the DVARs... as in something simple enough to find them.

i dont understand his set up with values becuase it supplies the offset and then just plain text values no hexadecimal values

Exactly... you have to produce the hex values... think of IDA when you open a binary file... you have two "Bit" options. If someone were to tell you how to do it you wouldn't learn a thing... but think about those two bit options and think of hex values. And see what you can find... if you get it to work awesome! Don't directly tell people, give them a push, nudge, wink wink into the right direction. :bro:
