I need help for modding black ops.
So far I have modded the t5mp_ps3f.self for killstreak reduction (as a test). I disabled jumping (which sucked Happy).
I want to mod zombies and I know that you have to mod the EBOOT.BIN but is their anyone who could help me in detail.
For example in the t5mp_ps3f.self i want to mod jump_height
i know that jump_heights original value is "39" :whistle:
but in IDA pro i cant find "39" near jump_height atall.
I dont know PPC coding but my dad does and he doesnt know either?
Can anyone help?
thanks Cool Man (aka Tustin)

007A49D8 is the offset you look for in HxD... Control G.

Now thats bgfalldamangeminheight or whatever... its value in decimal is going to be 9998... so that in a certain hex is what?

On another note, jump_height set to 1000 will get you out of the map, but if you havnt modded bg_falldamagemaxheight then youll die when you land.

9998 Dec. --> 270E Hex.

Wrong... 9998 in hex isn't 270E in Black Ops case. Download HxD and Control G and copy paste "007A49D8" thats where you put the Hex value for jump height... if you place it anywhere else its not going to work. And some DVARs are cheat protected. Super jump isn't. But since you guys said 270E think of IDA.. it opens in two bit modes or "Precisions" hex. I would like to explain in further detail, but I don't want to give away something that took me a while to discover, and nor would it be fair for other people who discovered it as well.

Google different precisions of hex. And then you will understand where I'm getting at.
