Even though I have a fragnstein, I find 7 sensitivity in-game to be optimal. Easy to turn on a dime, but precise enough for no jitters. Of course, this depends on your controller settings such as mouse sensitivity and DZ.
The most apparent problem with mice controllers in black ops is the ability to control the choppers. Definitely much harder to do than on a DS3.
Oh yeah, and rc xd's are extremely hard.

Wow, I never knew they made these.
I always wondered ever since I switched from my PC to the PS3 if they had these. Especially back in COD4 when I just got my PS3. I was like "How the hell do console gamers do this?"
Of course I'm used to it now, but wow. Thanks for the headsup. I might look into these!
If I were you, I would go with the FragFX shark. It is a little expensive, but you can do on the go button mapping, stick swap, macros, and rapid fire. You don't have to plug it into the computer to do any of those.
Key Features:
• 2 AA batteries (not included), as in one in the chuck and one in the mouse
• NEW 50h + play time
• NEW 500h + power save standby
• Mouse 1750 DPI resolution
• Play with the mouse on the PS3 as you would do on a PC
• Full PS3, PC and MAC support, either as a gamepad or mouse/keyboard control
• Fast access to special features (eg macro, rapid-fire, button swap, stick swap, etc.)
• Brand new wireless technology to 2.4 GHz (
same as DS3)
• Plug and Play
• NEW dead zone adjustment wheel
• SixAxis support
