The cause of this problem is from people that care about their precious k/d ratio and w/l ratio that they back out of games and will even pull the ethernet cord which prevents it from connecting to a new host. The community is the problem not Treyarch.

I can guarantee many people that frequent these message boards are the exact same people that back out of games. When I see people posting their k/d ratio on here and everybody says that they are 2.5+ it tells me you are part of the problem. Guess what nobody cares what your k/d is and it won't make you rich and famous. Your friends already know how good/bad you are at the game because they have seen/played with you already. Your k/d will prove nothing.

I understand backing out of laggy games because nobody wants play in a game where you keep teleporting to different places. However, NONE of the games that I played to tonight were lagging at all. I played for 1 1/2 hours and in that time span I finished 2 full games. Every other game the host backed out causing a connection to new host. Sometimes it would be several times in one game.

People need to learn to accept defeat. Do you like it when you get a gunship and the entire team backs out causing the enemies to forfeit? NO. So be courteous when you are the one on the receiving end of a gunship.


Treyarch can help eliminate this problem by doing the following:

1. Remove Deaths from combat record/ leaderboards (this would get rid of k/d ratio)

2. Remove Losses from combat record/ leaderboards (this would get rid of w/l ratio)

3. Make it where if you back out of game you cannot play in another game for 1 hour

4. Make it so everybody has a new statistic called DNF% as host (this is in madden and other online games). When you are the host and the game does not finish because you backed out your dnf% goes up. If it gets to high you should be banned from being the host. Also, it would show everybody else when looking at the leaderboards that you cannot handle losing and taking a beat down which would tell everybody that all of your stats are worthless because you only can beat up noobs.

No you got this wrong it is Treyarch why do you thing the Xbox problem isn't as bad, they have a better community? NO Microsoft bought there a community a better deal that is all. There aren't people backing out on every game /facepalm

In the words of HERMAN EDWARDS...."YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME" yes it is fun and people play for the fun of it but lets be honest THERE ISN'T much fun in going NEGATIVE all the time or loosing all the time I am pointing this out because neither one of these two have anything to do with the people who xmb out or dashboard out or w/e else term for it there is so don't get the two twisted just because you care about your stats doesn't mean you condone this. I don't overly care about my KDR but at 1.79 me being a run n gun gamer I think it shows that I don't go negative which to me is what a good KDR is I don't care about the exact number because that could be boosted but you having anything over a 1.10 tells me you can defend yourself and actually help out the team by going positive.

Why didn't you just shoot the chopper down? They made so that the red diamond doesn't come up right away after you respawn. Also, I don't care that your k/d is better than mine. You clearly quit games when the opponents are better than you. So yeah your k/d is better than mine because you play against noobs.

What about when I get thrown in a random game and everyone on my team is going negative and I don't have the strela yet. There's a gunship raping me every time I spawn and it isn't my fault at all. Enough said.

To the people that are complaining about joining a game and getting raped by a chopper:

The reason why you join a game in progress is from someone like you who backs out of a game. Preventing people from backing out of games would also make it so people would join less games in progress.
