- Forum users like to complain about the "invulnerability period" when someone is dropping. I found where this happens. It's in code and not script which is why I didn't see it originally. We need to think about this one clearly. I went through the revision history. Any attempts to remove the "0.5" seconds of invulnerability mean the guy with Second Chance will likely never be given his Second Chance. Removal of this entirely will all but remove the perk from the game (which I know many of you would prefer in the first place, but it's something we are not yet ready to do). This "0.5" seconds is consistent with the previous games and is not any longer or shorter.

We are evaluating the RC-XD minimum and maximum damage and damage radius and it's movement speed. Changing the kill requirement isn't feasible at this time.

We are largely okay with the sniper rifle and knife tuning at this time. No changes are currently planned for either of these for version 1.06.

Please note that I may not necessarily read every reply to this thread. Every day we go to work to fight glitches, cheaters, hackers, "bad judgment" emblem makers, and the like. We mostly work on genuine bugs and connectivity, party, and matchmaking issues. We also have a very aggressive DLC strategy and desire to do some unique things with the level designs of those maps. In-between all that, and when not covering for co-workers who are getting a well-deserved break, we work on gameplay finesse.

It is studio boss Mark Lamia's vision that this be the most well supported Call of Duty MP game in the history of the franchise. This is a tall order but it is exactly what we are going to continue to do. The scale of the game is massive. On any given day, we have dozens of things to deal with. Nothing prepares you for that except living it. And we are. With experience we will get better at it.

I mean hit detectioin as in walls around all objects not letting me reg hits.
It quite bad that i can fire at a guy behind something hit him dead on. Does nothing yet this AR can hit me behind something.
Snipers have poor hit detection still with walls around almost all objects.
Only thing which MW2 did better was sniper hit detection.

Hit boxes are good

Just want a better hit detection, and the second chance tweaks they are talking about, don't give a sh1t about anything else at the present time.

2nd chance kills should go to the original shooter only if they are still alive.
Too many players leave a guy in 2nd chance, get killed, and don't tell anyone else where they are.
While down in 2nd, your killstreak should not stack, kills should only count towards killstreaks after they are revived.
It is called 2nd chance, not 1st chance.
When someone gets put down, they should not be able to return fire until they hit the ground. If you can't finish them off till they're down, they shouldn't be able to kill you till they are down as well.
I like the 1 revive idea, but I would like to see them change the team kill revive rule.
If you are put down by a teamate in HC, you should be able to be revived and the person who shot you could not be.
I've had too many killstreaks ended by a teamate and left sitting there waiting to die.
You should also be able to shoot through things, if you have hardened equipped.
I like 2nd chance because it promotes team play, especially when I'm using it, but it is too overpowered, the way it is set up now.

the snipers on this game are a joke! and they say they dont need any tuning. I have had hitmarkers when i have shot ppl in the head and i have people in my party to back it up! The fact is with snipers and this stupid sway is that even from medium to long range, if the enemy sees you at the same time, you will die. It just takes to long to scope in and then steady the sway and then move your crosshairs onto the enemy, by the time you do all this a simple aim and shoot from assault rifles downs you. The only way to kill people with a sniper is if they havnt seen you or your playing against a complete noob.

mp5k needs to be fix and also voice comm. the patch messed up the voice comm since 1.05.

I like how you used the word "camper" to try and make your point somehow more valid. These "campers" can be killed by any gun. I know the word "camper" is used to make arguments stronger or dismiss things and all but any gun/skilled player can take them out more times than not....With that being said, they shouldn't nerf ANY GUN. Treyarch needs to stop listening to these geeks that complain every 5 minutes about something.

I can't count how many times I've had a teammate complain about "campers" or "a gun that's overpowered" and then when you look at his score he's at the bottom with a -10...People want excuses as to why they die, and that's what things usually come down to.
