after the match we had a few games online. both come off because it was late, then i had people messaging me what i was doing as it was saying i had never played black ops. ( when your player card is grey with no rank or money ).

so i went and looked on both accounts as dayle had gone to bed by now, and we both got a notice saying, we have been banned for breaching the security policy with 37 hours remaining, then after that another one came up saying that our online stats have been reset!

Really Treyarch ?? its getting stupid now. ive been banned and reset for nothing, then banned and reset for demo boosting and now this. ill be quiet next time and take this wing as a warning to what you are saying.

I personally think all this banning and resetting of peoples stats is a bit much. There are certainly other more pressing issues at hand, like the pathetic connection, and constant frame rate drops.

Besides it would be far more entertaining from my standpoint as a legit player, if they waited and axed you all from the leaderboards at once. Can you imagine the uproar then? Half of call of duty black ops players suddenly reset. I'd split my side rolling around laughing about it. I'd jump right off the game, and come here and the COD website just to see all the complaining.

Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for you in an odd way, kind of like when I see a dead squirrel on the side of the road. The squirrel should've known the car was going to get him, but I can't help but feel bad for the little guy. You should've known this shit was coming, they weren't shy about it. I think the exact quote was "ban hammer", it's dropping now and you are all acting amazed about it. They told all of us, it's half the reason I bought this broken game, after MW2 I didn't want to deal with it in every damn lobby.

To the internet tough guys throwing their negative rep power at anyone who doesn't think the way you all do.................... Negative rep me all you want, I don't give a shit about my rep power on a website. I'll be on BO on my legit account with all my guns the way I like them, and all my stats intact. So, if negative repping me on a website makes you feel better, have at it, I won't lose a seconds sleep if my rep is in the hole tomorrow. At least my stats will still be the same.

Why should Treyarch even care if people boost. The time you spend boosting does not equate to how good of a player you are

Of course they'd have PREMIUM accounts, to get those PREMIUM hacks... nowhere is safe on a hacking forum ":carling:

The only thing that I dont get is why we get banned and reset for their mistakes. Example, prestige glitch, splitscreen xp, private xp, and even map glitches. That is the only problem I see. If its against "security policy" then fix it. Its your fault we could do it to begin with, hell people could even do it on accident without trying and get in trouble for it.

thanks for sharing your story, it's a shame that you got reset, but like some other members stated, just play the game straight up without boosting.
