after the match we had a few games online. both come off because it was late, then i had people messaging me what i was doing as it was saying i had never played black ops. ( when your player card is grey with no rank or money ).

so i went and looked on both accounts as dayle had gone to bed by now, and we both got a notice saying, we have been banned for breaching the security policy with 37 hours remaining, then after that another one came up saying that our online stats have been reset!

Really Treyarch ?? its getting stupid now. ive been banned and reset for nothing, then banned and reset for demo boosting and now this. ill be quiet next time and take this wing as a warning to what you are saying.

i duno man im 50/50 maybe they do look on websites or maybe its just things what thay put in the game 2 detect ppl

Honestly, im not saying im on the boosters side, but in my opinion, (which im entitled to as an american, i hope.), if anything posting glitches, hacks, exploits etc. would help them out, because how else would they find the all the little ImperfectioNs and glitches in their game to be able to patch them and fix them giving the gamer the best non cheating experience. I just wish they would take out second chance, and worry about making the game less laggy, aswell as fix the stupid spawn points in certain game modes. kthnks.

Seriously, I have a legit 7th prestige account with 6 days, never boosted, no mods, no hacks nothing, no offensive emblem, completely clean,and whata ya know they ban me for 48 hours??! I have a 15th prestige account with 1 DAY ON!! seriously if you were gonna ban any of them why not that one, hope your reading this TREYARCH because you suck, i'm never buying one of your games again, anyways I agree with ya'll its their mistake in the first place, and the players get penazlied for it, why don't you penalize your coders and fire them instead of banning us.

I couldn't agree more! This has got to be one of the more intellegent things I've read in this thread. I'm not sure how much rep you lost, but I +repped and thanked your post. Hopefully it helped to give them something to take from you the next time you don't agree with them.

To all of you saying you don't understand why people are being banned, and that it's their fault for having the flaws, I think I can clear this up.

There are rules everywhere in life, in most cases they are even enforced. I know it sucks, but it's the way of the world. You've gotten away with taking the easy way out on COD for what, seven years? All of a sudden they decide to take a stand. Maybe they are tired of being the laughing stock of the FPS genre. It has to be embarassing to have your releases raped and exploited by every kid with a laptop, well now they've had enough of it.

As far as it being their fault for having the flaws in there goes, that's like saying it's my neighbors fault for hiding a spare house key outside, so I shouldn't get in trouble for taking all of his shit. I understand this is just a game, but its the same basic idea. You act like you should be able to take every shortcut available, without fear of consequences. Well, this time around you're wrong.

There are two ways to deal with this situation. Stop cheating and play legit, (I know, that seems like so much work) or wait out your ban and go back to boosting or w/e got you banned to start with. Just remember one of the definitions of insanity is repeating the same action while expecting a different result.
