(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); To everyone i am currently decrypting EBOOT.BIN for black ops using cygwin and im gonna work on it,
If i have success i will update my progress,
Feel free on asking any questions or suggestions to me because i still need the communitys help,

Only post something if you mean your going to do it, and not just try and get everyones hopes up.

Smile oh btw, here's a really good suggestion. Finish it already.

Decryption = Easy.
but the hardest part is re-compressing u may struggle with that. all's i can help u with is use geohot and failoverflows tools to re compress. As the retail PS3's even with CFW cant read debug .self (Decompressed ones) therefore every system file we edit has to be re-compressed

straight up atleast hes trying, even if hes not so what you go do it yourself then

I have a decrypted 1.05. i had errors recompiling, Im testing out a few diff tools.

Btw CYGwin operates much better in linux or ubuntu.

Keep up the good work and keep us posted man.

lol, your right my bad. Have fun doing what everyone can do decrypting the Eboot!

And also, enjoy not re encrypting the file. There really is no point, by the time you learned what is actually needed to re encrypt it. They would have released another update from 3.55.

But I mean, if you do manage somehow, successfully doing this I'll give you props bro.

Good luck like i said i had an error trying to recompress, but hopefully yuoll have some luck.
Keep me posted im working on the same thing, so i think 2 heads are better than one.

Ya thanks for that page but if you read the post i made it says im working on re-compressing but when i try i get an error just like when you try and open a ps3 patch in ff viewer
