Text Tutorial
1. Download the file that I provided above.
2. Decompress with WinRar and rename the file to "EBOOT.BIN"
3. Launch and connect to your PS3's FTP server using Filezilla or another FTP Client.
4. Navigate to Dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30591/USRDIR
5. Navigate to the location of the modified Eboot on your computer.
6. Overwrite the PS3's Eboot with the modded one.
7. (On your PS3) Quit to your XMB. Run Black Ops.
8. Click Local>Split Screen>Start Game.
9. When the game is launched, press the select button and you will see text come up telling you congratulations and what not.
10. End the game and then quit to XMB.
11. Delete your Black Ops Game Data from the PS3's Game Data Utility
12. Launch Black Ops and download the retai patch.
13. When you launch multiplayer, it will tell you that your stats were reset. This is normal.
14. Enjoy.
And before someone states the obvious and says "This has already been posted a billion times", ask yourself, did they present a video tutorial that leaves the user with no questions to ask and a matching text tutorial? Because surely if you have questions about this after watching my video tutorial, you certainly don't need to be attempting to modify anything about your PS3, less you screw it up.
im not stupid, i know what you showed me i just wanted to make sure and take precautions. so i dont mess up anything. im pretty good at doing this stuff, the only thing i never could do is make an eboot, thats why my major is culinary arts
