I am making this thread regarding of the recent Black Op's Permanent bans people have been receiving on Ps3.
At the moment unfortunately there is no way a reversing this at the moment and no way of by-passing it as of yet.
I am making this thread to regard everybody of what has going on. I will update this thread in a bit with more information regarding all of any news that has been released.
I appreciate all of your attentions. This thread will also cut down the threads and spam that has been going on.

At the moment there are many theory's and things you can do to try to get un-banned. But not many have been confirmed to actually be legit and work.

I also still have black ops on Xbox but what really sucks for me is I am in the 25k play off bracket for gamebattles winners round 2 and I have a match on monday it really sucks cause now we have to pretty much lose thanks to me being banned.

What about if your PS3 is still under warranty? Mine still has over 1 year left on it. I was thinking about having ti sent out for a refurb or something. BUT even still its not worth it to me to have to remove all my PSN titles (over 70) and all DCL (LOTS) then have to re download everything when I get the new one and still have the risk of not even getting a refurb but instead getting my original back with a note saying your ****ed LOL

Well if you still have your ps3 under warranty, you might have to think twice about it cuz it wont be a problem for you to get a new ps3 with a different id... Anyways is totally up to you, and think of yourself lucky since you got more options than the rest.

i had a permenant ban yesterday so i was thinking of getting an xbox untill today i turned my ps3 on and tried black ops again and it let me go online i was trying for hours when i knew i got the bann to try and get rid of it by reseting my ps3 i lost all the saved data but i got on when i went on today without doing a thing SOO FUK U BLACK OPS HAHA

Also piracy is illegal so is hacking, so technically they can charge you a quite wefty fine. Instead they ban your PS3 from online game-play. they cant charge me because how do they know if it was me that hacked my account if sum1 else did it then technically i havent tampered with my ps3

Buying a new PS3 wont help you get unbanned. The server banned your IP address, not your PS3

They can prove it was you. They take your IP address and ban that from there game. If someone else was on your account from a different location, it would of been there IP address that got banned not yours.
