Every time i go to run Call Of Duty: Black Ops it gets to that cut-scene (The one with the classified files and the treyarch logo) and just freezes,

I know it isn't the disk because the disc works 100% on my friends Ps3, Also i rented a copy of Black Ops and yet again, It crashed, Only on
my Ps3.

My Ps3 has 3.55 CFW, So i was wondering if that was causing the issue so i switched to 3.55 OFW and yet again, It still crashes.

I've tried backing it up using every available Back-up manager out there, But no prevail, The progress bar just remains at 0% and doesn't copy.

Finally, I was thinking about formatting my Ps3 or updating to the newer firmware, What do you think will it work?

i would advise trying the above first (but it probley wont work) and since people are here to help why is it that whenever i load in AC:brotherhood or blackops it sounds like the game ejects (but it doesnt actualy come out) and i have to take it out and put it back in multiple times to work (note: other games work instantly, and this is a 3.56 ps3- my 3.55 doesnt have a problem)
