Honestly, its such a sh*t game. I play MW2 more now but the game is ruined with 90% of the lobbies being modded. And it hit me, why do people keep buying these games?

My Theory?

Its probably because,

A. Everyones friends gets it so they want to play with them

B. (People like me) They hopelessly expect the new one to be better and fix all problems associated with the last one.

But thats me and my constant bitching, why do you guys buy CoD every year?

I saw that of the 4 different companies, plus, that Infinity Ward will be doing MW3 and I really like Infinity Ward's gaming style.
There are some guys in here posting "news" on the MW3 going on...

People buy them because they're called "Call of Duty", That's it the name.

Because I like the games. And im one of the few people that dont bitch.

I think its because there is currently no FPS that matches the standard of COD.
COD4 was great now the CODs are going down hill but there is still no other FPS that matches them.
COD4 set high standards that Treyach and Infinity Ward can't match.

All IMO of coarse.

I still buy the COD titles every year because its the thought of having all of them and owning the series and sticking through it since the originals (such as COD1 and COD2). It doesnt matter if the game completely sucks, its nice to have one of the best selling FPS titles out there. I buy them because I will like to look back at the past and say "Yeah that was one of our best video game series of our time and remember all the good stuff." Not the kids that moan and bitch at how bad it is.

On black ops, camping is WAY worse than it ever was on mw2. Commando is built into the game, and panic knifing is also, a problem. I'm also still finding noobtubes a problem, there's a very easy spawn spot for noobtube on summit, I've been killed by it so many times.

Panic knifing is essentially a situation where you tried to shoot someone in close quarters but they knifed you. Happens to me a lot, but calling it a panic knife sounds like an excuse for your death. Because if someone is close enough to knife you.....YOU ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO KNIFE THEM.

Campers are another excuse. Mostly since people use Spy Planes 10x more on this game than they did on MW2, as well as Blackbirds. Besides people can only have 1 Claymore per life. Unless you play Search, HQ or any hardcore mode camping isn't that big of an issue. I've seen guys go 30-3 talking about how someone on the other team is camping. I realize people just like to bitch or feel like the game or a person is cheating them. Stick to TDM or Domination for less camping than HC Modes.

Noobtubes aren't CLOSE to how they were on MW2. They aren't super powerful nor can you have unlimited supply. I do see a lot of fags noobtube, die then noobtube again, which is annoying because guys like that know they are only capable of getting 2-3 kills per life so they don't care about dying.

I don't think this game is nearly as fun as MW2 was for me. However if you even dare compare the amount of annoying things on MW2 to BO, then you are just looking for excuses. If knives(the same one you have) and campers are your two biggest complaints, I think the game is pretty good.

I pretty much agree with you on the camping side, my main game modes are demo/S&d/hq, but it gets quite annoying when you get knived and when watching the killcam, see that you weren't even on the guy's screen when he knived you.

And also I think that people probably do use more spy planes than uavs on mw2, but there are huge amounts of people using the rcxd, although I admit that I seem to be seeing less of them.

Gotcha. Look, I am against people who complain against campers not because I camp, but because people use that as an excuse way too much. Like I said even people who have a great game will complain about campers. If I'm on a team that is getting raped, my team will complain they are camping. I once had a teammate go 2-17 talking about the enemy is camping. If you are THAT bad you shouldn't be looking for excuses, you should sell the game lol.

With that said, I ****ING HATE HARDCORE MODES. THAT is where the real campers are. I have a friend who pretty much only plays HC and always invite me, and after 1 game I usually back out. It's boring, people really do camp with Claymores and move slow as hell. And at the end the best score is like 11-3. That's boring. I think Hardcore Modes are where campers learn how to camp. So I'm with you on HC, that's why I don't play them.

Also if you're over prestige 1 you shouldn't still be using RC Car. I run Hardline Pro usually but the minute I see the enemy team is full of 2 Kill Spy Plane users, I switch to Ghost Pro, not to camp but to rush their spawn while they're so busy staring at red dots.
