Change your controls to tactical

I can dropshot quite fine without tactical.

The best way to get good at it is simply practice. I got good at it by simply using default and getting used to moving my fingers quickly.

Practice on combat training. Make the bots recruit and run around dropshotting, its up to you wether you want to use tactical or default. I found tactical too hard to get used to. Once you are happy with your choice, just keep practicing. Sometimes you may feel dropshotting is throwing your aim off etc but once you are used to it, you will feel much more confident doing it.

Learning to do it on default took a long time for me.

I think its a good example of a dropshot.

The key thing to remember is that you need to shoot as you drop. If you drop and then shoot, you are loosing valuable time that could be used to killing them.

you can drop shot in black ops...it's pretty funny when you do because the enemy usually has no clue what to do :y:

While rushing, aim at your target and immediately go the prone while you're shooting.

Don't hold O press it once running to crouch and then hold to go prone.
