I'll tell you what I hate muthfuggas that drop shot but I love to do it to them :p

I am pretty damn good at it now, what I did to practice was on MW2 I would run at the red barrels and then drop shot them. It would help me to see how accurate I was at hitting it while I was going prone. You could do the same thing on BO too I guess?

Drop Shotting > Panic Knife.
Best way i found out to drop shot is go to tactical button layout. (Bf Bc2) uses this as their default. It is what got me to use tactical on cod. i just hold on R3 while just shooting. if they are close by like point blank range, hip fire drop shot. if they are a fair amount away, aim. aiming drop shots take a time to kinda get use to.

Steps

1. Before the game starts, switch your button layout to TACTICAL. This switches your croutch and melee buttons.
   
   
2. As an enemy approaches, hold RT, RS, and LT. This will cause you to fall on the ground, becoming a harder target to shoot.
   
   
3. Once the enemy is killed, stand back up by pressing RS twice. Get out of the area if you do not have a silenced weapon. You are extremely vunerable when on the ground.
   

Tips

1. You don't have to hold LT while dropshotting, but this makes it much harder at longer distances.
   
   
2. Don't aim anywhere but straight. As you fall, your bullets travel in a straight line.

Like every1 said change to tactical, then as soon as you see some1 coming towards you just start shooting and dropping to the floor by pressing R3

First off, like everyone else said. Tactical layout. I played the campaign like this to get used to the layout. At first, it's extremely confusing and you just might end up teabagging a guy instead of knifing so play in campaign or combat training. And don't do it now and then, when first starting, just dropshot every opportunity you can get so you can get used to it. Then, start cranking up the difficulty. You don't need to do this on veteran lol

I can drop easily cause while im shooting i move my thumb to O and then hold it <3 fast fingers ftw?

If you switch to tactical, be careful because I once fratured my thumb drop shotting people. :carling:

Change your controls to tactical, have a great reaction for drop shoting.
