For example: you go into a lobby of Search and Destory and there are all 15th prestiges on the other team, are you intimidated?

It means getting new things, new badge icon, title and emblems as well as customizable things e.g. gold camo unless you reach 14th prestige, coloured clan tag if you reach 13th prestige. Prestige leaderboards.

Prestige means nothing. I've seen prestige 15's go 2-20 and level 8's go 30-3. As for me, what incentives are there? Colored clan tags, new camos and facepaint? No thank you. Maybe I'm lazy or just don't play the game enough, but I'll stick with my level 50 1st prestige =D
