So anyway, I haven't been on my Ps3 in a while but I went on my banned account. I loaded up the game and read the error msg. So I decided to go to the website and look at there forum. I was going through a thread and some guy got banned for nothing. So, he said something about before banning us they could tell us why were banned instead of just banning us with no proof. So, it made me think. Why dont they ever send us proof that we were boosting or hacking? They cant just ban us for no reason because some boner face kid abused the report button. Then someone brought up something abot a lawsuit :carling:

I think someone here should file a lawsuit. And for every person they banned, they need proof. It'll be a easy win. Plus we can get them to remove the report button too. I mean, this would be a great idea. Right? :carling:

You paid for the disc. The online abilities are not part of the deal. They are legally allowed to disallow online service from whoever they wish, in the same way that a restaurant can.

So first we have the guy become the 100th person to use the "We will get unbanned because they'll lose all this money without us" excuse.

Now you are probably the 20th to try and use the "lawsuit" excuse. I'm not even going to entertain the idea of whether you would win or not.

But lawsuits and things of that nature costs lots of money. Much more than the $60 you paid, you could say $20 since 1/3 is Multiplayer. Lawsuits take time, so there is no way you would get a resolution to this "issue" within the next 3-6 months any way.

I'm sure if it was necessary they could get proof of what you did. I don't buy the excuses of those saying they were wrongfully permabanned. It's cheaper and quicker to

a.) Buy new PS3 or an Xbox 360
b.) Sell that PS3 on ebay/craiglist but let them know BO is banned.
c.) Get the **** over it.

You CANNOT break rules/the law and them sue someone for enforcing those rules. You probably have a titload of illegal songs/porn on your cpu too. Do you want Miley Cyrus suing you for having an illegal copy of her album? Didn't think so :pedo:

Well it is their servers and they have the right to ban you. Proof or no proof, the retain the right to.

This wont work, plus 75% of NGU are leeches who are lazy as ****.
