I know they patched it but, to what extent did they? Is it still the best SMG? Is it better than assault rifles? Is it still the players weapon of choice for a serious game? What are your opinions? I say the Galil is better now.

Yes I have to agree, the 74u is still the best SMG however I prefer the Galil over it anyday, it's a little hard to get use to but once you get the hang of it start setting your killstreaks high.

I'd have to disagree when you said that guns don't matter. They do. Look back at MW2. If you're complete shit, pick up a noob tube and put it on an ACR, and you'll notice a significant change in your score. That go-to gun in BlackOps would be the 74u (and the Famas). Good fire rate, perfect and noob friendly iron sights, good damage, and unlocked early on at level 17. You can't really ask for more.

I think the guns are fine as they are. Now if they could fix all the damn framerate issues and connection drops I'd be jolly as a fat man with his Twinkies.

I dont care what gun people use unlike most people. I think people cry over guns, Ghost and campers too much... I was simply stating the fact 70% of community uses 74u or Famas. If ur a Famas user sorry to offend you. Famas is a beast gun... Just unoriginal. So dont troll me, you could use the Mp40 4 aa I care

You can't compare a Noobtube to ANY weapon... A Scar, M16, Ump, etc could yield same score... Guns help. Obviously a 74u or MPL will be a better choice than a Skorpion... Guns wont make a bad player good. If a scrub switches from M14 to a the Galil, of course he'll do better. Thats because is a shit gun unless you have skills to begin with... Aim, awareness, connection are more important than the gun. Plenty Noobs go negative with 74u... Its like if you give a Noob the LA Lakers; OF COURSE he'll do better with them then the Cle Cavs... But if your competition has skills the teams dont matter as much... Same with guns





No I play Black Ops where 70% of community uses 74u or Famas. Its all good tho, but its the truth. Those are good guns and in the right hands GREAT guns... On Jungle people use Snipers(like Noobs) or other guns but majority of maps 74u or Famas is king... I use G11, M16, MPL or Commando/AK47 myself. I figured you quoted me cuz ur a Famas user... But dont worry I dont care what gun people use since my crew uses 74u or Famas or Galil. Just stating the truth . Jungle and Array or the only maps people dont use 74u as much . But I think people who want guns nerfed or say "overused are Crybabies

If you give it to a Noob it is. The M14 isnt noob or amateur friendly at all. If you had a friend play Black Ops and they had ZERO FPS experience... You would give them an M14? Certain guns are better for Newbies than others. Once someone has skill they can play with almost any gun....I said in my post M14 is shit if a person lacks skills to begin with. Just like F2000 on MW2 is shit gun IF you lack skills, or patience lol
