A gun won't make you better at a game if you suck. Not saying you do. But more 74u users I see have like .50 W/L and .80 K/D...
If you have awareness, aim, good connection, map knowledge you can have a "serious" game with any one of the following guns:
Galil, MPK5, MPL, AK47, Commando, FAL, G11, M16, Stoner, M60, Famas, AUG, Kiparis.
As far as I can tell they did nothing to the 74u. Plenty of unoriginal guys use it. I don't think it's the best gun in the game since it's only beastly from close to medium range. And even if it was the best, it wouldn't matter to me since having the "best" gun isn't going to make you a good player if you're not already.

i havent noticed anything use rapid fire steady its still a ass hole gun i dont know where they went wrong but all the SMG suck ass or atleast most :p

They barely made any adjustments at all, from what I can tell. Is it still the best SMG? Of course, by a longshot.
Is it better than assault rifles? That depends on the situation you are in.
In competetive gaming, you will find more famas gameplay now that MLG banned the rapid fire attachment.
