Post: 10 Tips for the average player.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); As an avid black ops player I thought I would share some things that I found helpful in getting the most out of each match I play.

These are not ranked by importance.

1. Pro Perk Glitch - I know this has been posted a million times but everyone should be doing it. It is very simple and if you get creative with copying classes you can really make just about any combination of pro perks by level 14.

2. Prestige Money Trick - Again, it has been posted many times but starting at '1' with 30k in cod money is a huge advantage, especially when using tip#1.

3. Two base classes.
3.1 ghost pro/warlord/hacker/silencer
3.2 hardline or lightweight/sleight of hand/marathon pro class.

4. For guns, it is impossible to beat the versatility of the famas. In my opinion it should be your gun of choice. That being said, the players that have serious skill can dominate by using just about any combo of perks and guns.

5. Kill streaks. As a general rule of thumb, you should be getting your highest kill streak at least once every 3 games. There is no point in having high kill streaks when you never get them. If you find yourself hitting your highest kill streak and getting a few more kills, switch to the big ones.

6. Semtex nades are the better choice unless you have mad skill at cooking the frags, if so, use those.

7. Secondary. Use the Strela. Unless you are sniping or using the shotgun the secondary weapon should never be out. Unless you have a Strela. There is nothing more frustrating/satisfying (depending on how you look at it) than a heinz or chopper gunner go down without landing a single kill.

8. Points. HQ - Demo - Domination - S&Awesome face -
These are the games that will make you level up quick. S&Awesome face is good for the more skilled players, if you die too much your points as an aggregate go up slowly. Demo is good if you have a full squad and can push the time limit to the max. HQ is good if you are playing alone or in a small party. And when double XP is on, HQ is the only spot to be.

9. Concussion grenades should be used in CTF. It slows the flag carry to a virtual halt. As well from my own experience I will still kill you if you flash me, if I get concussed and the shot is not straight on, I die. Decoys are only useful in random strategic situations.

10. Turn your sensitivity up. Most people play with their sensitivity way too low. Turn it up, suck it up and get used to it. It'll save your life someday.

I hope this has been useful to a few of you out there.

Theres no point going to 10 sensitivity when you cant control it. So if you use 10 you have to control it. Meaning that if you can control it, you're going to be accurate.

If someone is even to the left or right to you and have a higher sensitivity the will kill you before you kill them simply because you cant turn around fast.

Lower sensetivity is by far better. I used 7-8 sensetivety for a while, but I tried something different and fell in love. Your aim at medium-long range is going to improve and overall your K/D and maybe your W/L ratio is going to increase. Just ask all the proffesional gamers. Nearly every "MLG GB PRO" usees 2-5 sensitivety. And if your good, getting caught up close doesnt happen often. Also here is my pro-tip to level up fast:

1. Get a good feeling in all the playlists, play the objective take note of spawns etc. in the different game types.

2. Play a bunch of games in each playlist. Ditch the ones that you hated the most. Remember to play the objective. Dont bother playing FFA, sabotage or team tactical as those playlists never give you a good amount of xp.

3. Once you have played around 10-20 matches in each playlist go to the leaderboards and find out which who gives you the best score per minute. For me its SnD. I would not recommend playing domination and demolition for xp unless you are in a 6-man party and spawntrapping.

4. Play that playlist! If you get bored try the second one. Remember to swap guns, perks and equipment so you can get even more xp from challenges. I also recommend contracts, but they are not nesacerry for ranking fast.

Your accuracy can't be better at longer range if you know your sensitivity.

Since you are exaggerating, I will exaggerate too.

Because EVERYONE uses Spy Planes. Play a few games and count how many times you hear "Friendly/Enemy Spy Plane above. Ghost is such an effective perk because the use of Spy Planes in this game are probably 5x as much as it was in say MW2.

Second, I see way more silenced Famas, 74u users. Galil is a good gun. Suppresors keep you off enemy radar when you shoot.

Third, because Claymores are very effective. You dont have to use them to camp. You can put them on flags, or in places where enemies may camp or will be.

If you are good enough to get dogs you dont need Spy Plane.

Any team you are on there will be at least 2-3 people using Spy Plane already anyway. You will get more kills with Napalm, Care Package or Sentry gun.

I run 5-8-9 with Care Package, Rolling Thunder, Chopper.

or

8-9-11. With Blackbird, Chopper, Dogs.

People use Spy Plane on this game a helluva lot. I can get 7 kills without a Spy Plane, but I know my teammates will call them in, especially if they are noobs who cant get more than 2-3 kills or if they just prestiged. So i can use their Spy Plane to help get my Blackbird, and thus my Blackbird helps them.

Blackbird will help the "team" even more. All I am saying if you are good enough to get Dogs, then you dont need to have Spy Plane as a killstreak. Damn near 2-3 players on every team uses Spy Plane. Nothing wrong with helping the team. But a counter Spy Plane or Sam Turrent would help them just as much if not more.

Ok. What is the prestige money trick?

Also, this should be added. Use spy plane and blackbird. I conciser these to be Stackable killstreaks. I usually run 3 4 8 just because counter spy planes are sooooo useful and aggrivate the other team

Prestige money trick is where you go into high roller at lvl 50 with enough xp to prestige. After it says locking in bets, and starts the countdown, go to the next prestige. you will get to play as a level one and if you win you start out with 30k cod points
