I for one hate having multiple splitscreen parties on my team because lets face it; majority of splitscreen guys are TERRIBLE. I hated 2nd Chance but not as much as I used to, I actually get a little satisfaction killing off those bums. I hate getting killed by a Sniper, or Shotty and most of all I DESPISE getting my Chopper or Gunship shot down, and I look at the guy´s score and its like 3-15...But in all those cases, I respawn, and play on.

The COD community seems to literally not take ANY responsibility for their deaths. I read here, I listen to teammates and people in the game lobby and people turn things that are purely annoying into excuses for their deaths. I mean can you ever die without the other guy doing something wrong? Can't you ever be outplayed or wasn't paying attention, or shouldn't have reloaded, etc? I will give some common complaints that people turn into excuses.

1. Those guys were camping... This is an FPS, OF COURSE PEOPLE WILL CAMP. Legit campers are lame, yet very easy to kill. And this word is way too overused. I honestly dont think people know what camping is. The worst complainers about campers are guys trying to Quick Scope or people who use 2nd Chance.

2. I ragequit when I see campers.... People like that are why so many games ended in MW2. To me trying to justify ragequitting by saying you were against "a team of campers" is like trying to justify rape by saying the girl was fat. How do we know they were really camping? How do we know the guys werent just better than you or your bum teammates kept dying? Whats stopping you from ragequitting when you are getting your ass handed to you by people who dont camp? Thats a silly question though, since of course everybody is camping but you...

3. "Noobs camping for Chopper Gunners and Dogs"....First off if you let a guy get 9-11 kills in a row, YOU ARE THE NOOB, SO STOP CONVINCING YOURSELF OTHERWISE. I dont give a shit if he did camp to get it, its not like he has unlimited supply of Claymores and Stopping Power. If he is literally camping, that means he is in the same spot pretty much that entire killstreak. So if you let a person kill you 9-11 times in the same ****ing spot, THAT IS ON YOU AND YOUR TEAM. When the enemy gets Dogs against me, and I know the guy who got it was camping(because he killed me a few times :black: ) I DO NOT blame him for camping. I blame myself and my team for letting him camp that long in the first place.

4. Ghost...Ahh, I just love those debates. People with Ghost don't camp anymore than those without it. As I have stated, it is actually easier to camp if you have a Spy Plane up all game and you think you know where people are. The annoying thing about Ghost haters is they NEVER acknowledge the Ghost users that rush. I know why though. It's because on NGU especially people think if you put the word camper in your argument, it makes it stronger or more valid. I do occasionally get killed by a guy using Ghost who is hiding, but not anymore than I do by any other player. People's dependence on Spy Planes on Black Ops is the reason Ghost is so useful. Next time you play TDM or just Ground War, tell me how many times your team or the enemy has Spy Plane up....THAT is why people use Ghost in the first place. If they camp with it, so be it. But I almost wish they would take the perk out. Just so people will have one less excuse for their deaths. The guy that has Ghost and even a silencer running around in your spawn killing your team, and just raping...Let's not mention him. Lets mention the homo hiding in the corner camping. I now use Counter Spy Plane often to stop Spy Plane whores...P.S. get a Blackbird(assuming you can get more than a 2-3 killstreak)

5. "Overpowered guns, Tryhards, Panic Knifing, etc."...Is getting killed by a 74u with rapid fire annoying? Sure. But its not overpowered. If a guy doesnt camp and rushes, people still discredit him or her by saying they are a "tryhard"? So he plays the game without camping yet you still try and say he tries too hard, or his weapon is too good, or he plays the game too much, has no life, is a 40 year old virgin, N word or any other dumb ass thing people say. Just die and respawn and stop making excuses. Lastly panic knife. I am a shoot first type regardless of how close the enemy is. However if someone "panic knifes" me. I dont think of it as a panic knife, I think to myself, why did I just try to shoot a guy 3 feet in front of me.

6. K/D doesn't matter...Oh but it does. It shouldnt be so important that you act like its an online dick size ruler but it does. I think it is important because it can at least mesure if a player can stay positive. A decent K/D and good Win% is what a strive for in COD games. But I dont go into every game hoping my KD is so high and blh blah blah. A lot of the people who say it doesnt mean anything at all, are the same types my thread is about. Every death is the enemies fault and regardless of if your Combat Record says you have a 0.40 Win% and a 0.69 KD you can still kick anybody's ass right? Your deaths arent your fault and your Combat Record means jack shit. Your are better than that guy with the 3.00 KD because you dont camp....You go girl!!!

Nothing wrong with complaining. But honestly online gaming is a different animal than offline. People will use the best guns, perks to their advantage. There will be those innocent hackers doing Prestiges, and then the more evil hackers trying to put aimbots in the game, etc. Point is, online gaming is not for everyone. It's okay to die and say, "damn I messed up" or even, "that guy ****ed me up" every now and again. Instead of always, "damn camper, tryhard, overpowered gun, Ghost noob, Flak Jacket noob, cheater, etc".

P.S. Again if a guy was camping and you let him get Dogs, you should look at yourself and your teammates for letting him do that shit. This isnt MW2 where maybe he got 5 kills by camping, then his killstreaks did the rest. If you let him get 10-11 kills in a row, YOU ARE THE NOOB. At least in that case.

Games these days are for Casual ****ing Gamers, hardcore gamers will get bored and find games to easy cuz they are made for little noobs that only play 10-20mins / days. Sony/Micro$oft/Nintendo all said that they want to attract the casual gamer... so they are doing it.

Compare COD4 to COBO, they made dolphin dive so that you can't DropShot (Foward). Make easy Perk for high kill streak.

SOCOM 2 to SOCOM 4: Double Primary, No pistol, No Recoil, Radar.

The list go on and on, but upcoming games will take less skills and hardcore gamers are just sick and tired to play with noobs or VS noobs that always camp/panic knife/stupid killstreaks

i love how people cry about the games oh this over powered etc. PLEASE STFU ( not you lol just them people ) its a game. e if im getting beaten ill leave straight away who cares if its a rage quit. no1 likes loosing. you choose a gun YOU like and a gun that get YOU kills not because everyone else is using it. i hate ppl who camp, but i deal with it semtex straight on them i wont bother going close to them as they'll just have the advantage of knowing you'll come back.

Gone to get a better game

It's just a game.

The casual vs hardcore gamer discussion is a grey area for me.

I enjoy a game thats in between casual and hardcore.

Casual gamers like games that are easy to join, play and have a good time.

Some hardcore gamers only like games to be hardcore so it puts them at an advantage. It's basically like the guy who is pretty good at pool. He plays someone not very good at pool and that person makes a whole bunch of lucky shots and somehow wins.

Well the more experience or hardcore pool player gets mad he lost. So next game he brings up the rules like calling your shots, etc. But he only does this because he knows the harder the game is, the easier it is for him to win.

I can adjust to whichever. But yeah I just remember as a kid, if my brother or friends beat me in something, and I basically said they cheated or picked an easy team on NBA Live or Madden, they would laugh in my face and call me a nerd...And thats how I feel about a big portion of the community. If people are killing you by Ghost or FAMAS, you should complain....But don't act like somehow those deaths dont count and that person is a "noob".

I will never forget back on the MW2 side of these forums. Some dude said something along the lines of this...

Some noob could use an easy gun like the UMP, get 7 kills for Harrier, then get an AC-130, then a Nuke. So basically the guy that got the Nuke is a "noob" but he isn't. I have no clue why people convince themselves that the game is always cheating them, and some perk or gun is overpowered when they don't take other things into account.

The only thing in COD series that is an annoying death, but I think its somewhat okay to call BS on is OMA, Danger Close, Noobtube combo...And that's because you could shoot them in the air and get kills, or shoot them at the ground.

Noobtubing in MW2 is what I considered overpowered because at least with a gun, you have to aim, and shoot A PERSON and not some random part of the map. And being able to have an unlimited supply was the icing on the cake.

Campers.... there will always be campers, but on some game modes why bother, in SnD people don't have to be that worried about camping, because if you could actually rape, you wouldn't camp. I learned this with mw2 when i went 20-0 rushing while those faggots tried to camp.

but you also didn't raise the answer of demolition, what if that time is organized enough to spawn trap/camp. thats a perfectly good reason to be mad about campers. i know damn right i would rage quit in demo if i was spawn trapped.

you should always remember dude that in the end we most likely won't like getting raped, but it's all fun and games while we're raping the other team and think it isn't unfair. i mean how do i go from one game of 42-10 to a 3-15. i didn't automatically start sucking did I? no way in hell, how could that happen?

in the end i've come to one conclusion for black ops, the game is broken and i refuse to play more than twice a week, and that twice a week failing mainly on friday and saturday evening. other than that i won't touch the game for what it's really worth... zombies the only good aspect of the game that treyarch couldn't fail at.
