Josh Olin, or as some of you know him as JD_2020 from Twitter, has been defending the set price they've been putting on the Call of Duty: Black Ops map packs, while players think they're paying so much, for so little added content.

"It's a little of getting used to it, but I think people see there's a lot of value in the map pack," said Olin. "All four of our MP maps are brand new from the ground up- they're not rehashes from single player, they're not old maps that people have seen before - they're brand new maps."

And then he commented on the gameplay of the new map packs, having ziplines, auto turrets, destructible bridges. While zombies gets new maps, having new weapons, traps, & zombies.

Obviously most players were anticipating the Call of Duty: Black Ops, as it was & still is on the top selling charts for XBox Live, selling a mere 1.4 million copies in just 24 hours of release.

So what do you think? Is the DLC carrying it's weight?[/color]

they are obviously worth it I mean in Mw2 they weren't because they remade maps and sold them for 15$ but in BO they make new MP maps and also zombz map and sell it for 15 seems worth it to me no reason to complain about MP price for BO should of complained about them in MW2 days

What was the price last time?

It's a catch 22 really. Tons of people buy the map packs, then complain. Then hear about another map pack then after only seeing pix they say "This map pack looks good", repeat. So obviously the price isn't stopping people.



The 2nd MW2 map pack especially was better than this first Black Ops map pack.

And who are we to say how people should spend their money?

tbh it dont moatter what teh price is 800 1200 1600 people will still buy it

For First Strike? I think it was the same, somewhere between $10-15 USD.

Map packs are uselss.
