Okay dude here is what I did:

1) Make sure the TV is in "game mode". Game Mode is usually a scene or setting preset. Search online if your TV has this feature and look up how to use it if you can't figure it out.

2) Play in Component or HDMI. Composite (yellow video cable) causes a delay for my TV.

3) Make sure you are playing in 720p or greater. On my TV, if I go lower there is a delay. I guess this is why composite cables cause a delay for me.

4) Experiment with the fancy features turning them on & off. Try experimenting with "True Motion" or whatever you guys were just discussing.

5) Look online for other people who have had this problem too.

Do you have a PS3 slim? If you do hold down the power button until you hear 3 beeps. After that your TV's resolution should turn normal. It worked for me, it should work for you Winky Winky
