To all of those who have downloaded the Escalation Map Pack, you may notice that they have patched the Sign In method and require you to buy it when selecting CALL OF THE DEAD.

I believe I am the FIRST PERSON to find a workaround for this (I have been checking forums, threads)

To get the map to work, for zombies, follow these steps:

1. Sign In with both accounts at the dashboard.
2. Load up Black Ops. Sign out as soon as the Intro shows.
3. Sign In with Prince of Crack at the black ops main menu (with 2nd controller)
4. Play a SplitScreen with both accounts still signed in.
5. Play until you get an error "Invalid Gamertag" (I think you have get downed by zombies and it auto-restart)
6. Press ok, you will see "Please Wait" in bottom corner then it will go back to the main menu.
Then it will say "Please Wait" again.
Now press "OK" when "Invalid Gamertag" shows up and get ready to sign out of Prince of Crack AS SOON AS it says "Please Wait" again.
8. If done correctly, you will be able to play Call of the Dead on XBL!

To activate in Multiplayer:

1. Go straight to MP menu with only your account signed in.
2. Sign in with Prince of Crack with 2nd controller (Don't select XBOX LIVE, leave it how it is)
3. Wait 5 seconds and then sign back out of Prince of Crack.
4. You may now connect to XBOX LIVE

How i do it (100% works)
Zombies
Sign into both accounts at dashboard
start game
sign out of modded account during intro
go to zombies and Walla !

Multiplayer:
sign into both accounts whilst at main menu
select multiplayer
while multiplayer loads quickly sign out

OR

set black ops to load multiplayer straight away
press xbox button once game begins to load ( it will usually close it just press it again)
press x to sign out hover over yes
and as soon as the Call of duty loading icon appears at the bottom sign out.

One quick question... I can't get my VPN to work shared with my xbox... From what it seems, it's not building a VP6 DNS address, which doesn't allow me to login to xbox live... I already bought the add on with my MS Points on xbox.com website using the VPN... Do you think that if i download this pack, and put in the my Xbox HD, it will allow me to use it? (ban free of course)

Just transfer it to your XBOX's HDD via USB and you should be good to go

Just very simply, this is my situation:

I have a Black Ops US disc, US region Xbl account, but my physical location is Beirut, Lebanon in the middle east... I'm stationed here sadly... So my download won't continue past the 98% because the Xbl server finds an ip location miss-match.

My question is since, clearly i bought the DLC with MS Points, if i copy this DLC that is available for download in the thread, will it work with my account? Or do i still have to use the the thread owner's technique? And is the DLC signed with a gamertag?

Ahh you're in luck then, just download the DLC, extract it to your USB using the method provided and copy it to your XBOX's HDD.

Once it's on there the system will play it normally without any further stuff from the OP as the license is on your account, so it'll be as if you downloaded it normally over XBL.
