Post: We need a way to get ammo for box weapons

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I know / heard that there used to be this machine that gave you max ammo everytime you bought it, but was taken out for being overpowered. So what I'm thinking can happen is this:

There would be a question mark outlined on the wall somewhere (preferably a hard to get/risky place to get (as in risky to head to during the middle of a round)) that you could purchase ammo for your box weapons at 1,500 points (6,000 for upgraded weapons)

Idk, just an idea. Anyone agree/have any changes you could make to further balance it?

Edit: Maybe the question mark can randomly move just like the box, and when it moves, it doesn't give you the ammo you purchased and doesn't give you a refund (or maybe it should? no idea on this one)

instead of recycling, they can have the same weapon u have appear in the mystery box so u can swap ammo.

it would be funny if we could pick up dead team mates weapons

would be nice to have a amo machine or get bullets from the dead zombies or sumthin or like a kill streak with zombies 2 zombies get a bullet for both weapons

I'd like to see something that can give extra upgrades to pack-a-punched guns, like extra ammo pool, extended clips, akimbo, dual mags, etc. I'm sure there can be fun ways to access these upgrades that don't destroy the balance.

A regenerating ammo perk would be great too, or even something that makes headshots or killshots cost zero ammo.

yeah the ammo-matic was never added, but was fully modeled and textured like they were going to add it, it also changed a lot from shi no numa to der riese like they would add it but i guess they thought it would be OP to just sit at the ammo machine the whole time.

it seems pricey but yea i would pay 6k to get more ammo for meh ray gun =]

Ammo machine would sort of be farmable though later in the game with a un upgraded LMG. So I don't think it would work, I would hope they would add more Ammo drops itself because in the later rounds you rarely get any and it stops you alot.

What it does: It acts like the scavenger in the sense that you can pick up ammo from dead zombie bodies. You get one clip of ammo per zombie. This might sound overpowered, but during a horde of zombies, running over dead zombies looking for ammo could be risky. Also, the ammo drop only lasts as long as the dead body's sprite (graphic) is there. If the round ends (the last zombie is killed), the ammo drops also disappear. Also, when receiving full ammo power-up, the player also gets their loaded clip full (not having to reload before getting max ammo).

Idk, it seems a bit overpowered to me, but I couldn't find a way to balance it any better.

Edit: I should also state that this would only go into future zombie map(s), and not patched into older ones (this hasn't been done anyways, but stated for clearance)


Only random zombies drop ammo packs would be better to make it less over powered, so I could kill 20 one round and only get one pack kill 5 the next and get 3 drops of the ammo pack. 100% random.
