So, if you have been temporarily banned from black ops for boosting you will also receive a permanent ban from using the split-screen function - making boosting harder for you. Follow this super easy TUT and bypass the ban to carry on boosting, or just to use split-screen online.

TUT:

1 - Go to split-screen or LAN
2 - Connect 2nd controller
3 - Join a friend's party
4 - Ta-Da! now you can use split-screen again!

Edit: If for whatever reason, you lose the 2nd controller from your party, you need re-do all these steps. This doesn't permanently un-ban your 2nd controller.

No, I was doing it last night. Are you sure you did it right? It's so simple, go to splitscreen or LAN and add your 2nd control and then join a party. You only get kicked when you try to add your 2nd control in the party.
