this may sound kinda nooby but if you think about it, it doesnt. no one has decrypted ps2 game saves because they are encrypted and its the same with the ps3 but with the ps2 we used "action replays" which mods the codes when they are running and decrypted IN the ps2. Why dont we do something like that. we wont be able to use a home brew until we get more cfw (not for a while) but use a disc, i dont see why something like this wouldent work. Is a plausible idea?
Well even if there was another CFW release you wouldn't be able to mod Black Ops same with another jailbreak, when your using the FTP and browsing the DevHdd0 those files are all compressed and encrypted(Black Ops FFs etc). Lets just say that if you can dump your allocated memory (You should know where this is at) during runtime you will get a dump of decompressed and decrypted game files. All you would have to do is modify them and write them back to your allocated memory when the game allocates it. There's speculation that this doesn't work after 3.14 etc, but my friend said it worked for him on 3.50, so I'm sure this can work on 3.66. Haven't tried on 3.6x yet. But I might.
