It only lasts for a split second so you have to be like right over the monkey to get it... video below.

Well, I was playing with my friends, everybody died but one of my friend was alive and he killed one monkey and somehow he managed to get the perks. He was surprised and excited but, He was not aware of how he got it. So, After watching this video i realized the perk power up shows up for a split second and disappears. Thanks for your post.

That's pretty neat. Too bad it only lasts for such a short amount of time. I guess if it lasted longer it would be too easy to get.

Or you can complete the Easter egg and get all 7 perks, and when you go down you still keep the complete 7 perks doing the easter egg means buy jug so you stay alive while doing Easter egg then get rest for free simples

Do the perks go in a certain order or is it random when the monkey has it?

Each player will get a random perk. There is no order, unless you already have 6 perks, then you'd get the 1 you were missing. From my experience, I've noticed that if there are 4 players playing, 2 of you will get the same perk, while the other get a different perk, but they both get the same one.

How about when the drop changes when the monkey has it? Is that random too?

Nope, it always comes after a max ammo.
