Post: 'Enemy spotted!' / 'Placing claymore!' / 'Reloading!' - SHUT UP DUDE

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); It seems Treyarch is trying to counter all the camping that's been going on lately, which is a good initiative imo. However, their methods are not so cool... Have you guys noticed that your character shouts more phrases than before? Not cool when you're flanking with a silenced gun... 'Reloading', 'Changing mag', 'Enemy spotted', 'Placing claymore', 'Throwing frag', 'Popping smoke' and so on.

I know, he already yelled a lot of those things, but lately it seems that it has been increased to almost every action you do. Especially when you're isolated from your team, which is good if the reason is that you're camping, but bad if the reason is that you're rushing and flanking. Kinda annoying, because all that shouting is also heard by the enemy, as you all know.

Because my teammates were not near me, the voice had an accent that matched the other team, and it helped me kill the guy

This is false. Many of the sound commands are client side, however things like these are server side. If you look at the coding for cod4 cod5 and MW2 they're all server side coding. I'm pretty sure Treyarch didn't change the coding for B.O.

Cake is a lie
I can hear enemy chants. On villa I know if I'm Tropas but hear "reloading" an enemy is near especially if a friendly arrow disappears but most people don't pay attention to that anyway.

It is what it is. There are Ghost or silencer rushers vs Ghost or silencer campers.

People who flank with stealth vs campers. You can't only have sounds for campers.

The ennemy does hear all what your players says :y: I always hear ennemies saying pacing claymore or throw a frag ect... but sometimes I run and hear ennemy spotted even if the ennemy is inside the house and you running beside the outdoor wall it says it :y:

Then when the enemy isn't one of the English speaking they stay stuff you can't understand so your at a disadvantage too.

I have tried this with my friends as we were curious about this. We heard absolutely nothing. You may be hearing yourself doing it or you may hear a teammate who has their television a little too high and their mic is picking up his character chanting it thus giving you the thought you hear others.
