Climbing up the ladder
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This is a thread to discuss different classes or styles of playing people use to get high killstreaks like attack dogs, and to help give tips to those who still struggle with getting high killstreaks.

Anyway, this is what I suggest for high streaks.

Class setup: You need a great gun that can do well at long range AND close range. A gun you can aim well with and fire bursts of 2 or 3 shots at lIong range, and a gun that you can unload into the enemies quickly at close range, like an SMG. I suggest the Aug, or the FAMAS if you're good with it. For the attachment, use a noob tuber. Fine, maybe not that if you don't like it. But just don't use the silencer, it will work badly with the strategy I'm suggesting. Use a Semtex and claymore, and sleight of hand. I personally use hardline and marathon, but you can choose the 2nd and 3rd perk.

Game mode: Demolition. If you play it out right, you can get 3 attack dogs and choppers in one game.

Playing style: Pretty much, you're going to want to just... Move around and watch the paths from their spawn to the objective. Use all the cover you can find. Camp behind cover watching their spawn-objective path. You should try to face the path, because enemies are much more likely to survive if you're shooting and aiming at the same time, but you don't need to readjust your sight that much if you're facing your enemy head on. Try to get 2, or maybe 3 kills before retreating. Go around through the middle of the map and keep finding good places to stay and get a few kills before leaving. Before you know it, you should have blackbird, then chopper, then dogs

I'll upload a vid of me using this strategy if anyone wants.

So, share some other classes and strategies[multipage=Set your Page Name ]

In normal tdm, domo and ground war. Mp5k extended mags, with lightweight, soh and marathon builds up my killstreaks in the first 2 minutes. Rinse and repeat.

If I'm playing demo, then just sit in there spawn lol :L

for me i use 1 of 4 main set-ups to get higher killstreaks:

Run n Gun:

Primanry: MPL <Rapid Fire>
Secondary: Python <Awesome faceual Weild>

Lethal: Tomahawk
Tactical: Concussion Grenade
EquipmentClaymore

Perk 1: Scavenger
Perk 2: Sleight of Hand
Perk 3: Marathon

i find this class to be amazing in closed area maps with lots of scenery like nuketown, launch, hanoi as up close this class is almost unbeatable

Shotgun Whore[/i]

Primanry: Spaz-12 <Silencer>
Secondary: Python <Awesome faceual Weild>

Lethal: Frag/Tomahawk
Tactical: Concussion Grenade
Equipment: Claymore

Perk 1: Scavenger
Perk 2: Steady Aim
Perk 3: Marathon

I use this one for close quarter combats like nuketown, firing range and such as the silencer stops people hearing you while you run around gunning folk down. scavenger means ya get extended mags straight away and you never need to swap guns, plus i find having the silencer reduces spread of the gun making it more easier to hit your target

Dirty Camper[/i]

Primanry: MPL <Silencer>
Secondary: Python <Awesome faceual Weild>

Lethal: Tomahawk
Tactical: Decoy Grenade
Equipment: Motion Sensor

Perk 1: Ghost
Perk 2: Sleight of Hand
Perk 3: Hacker

Great in free-for-all games and search and destroy matches, basically i hang out near the objectives, throw a decoy, plant a motion sensor down and wait for the unlucky ****er to try find the "enemy" thats firing and then inject him with bullets or implant a tomahawk in his face. Yeah i know its rather cheap but....it works.

Spray n Pray[/i]

Primanry: AK-47 <Awesome faceual Mags>
Secondary: Python <Awesome faceual Weild>

Lethal: Frag
Tactical: Concussion
Equipment: Claymore

Perk 1: Scavenger
Perk 2: Sleight of Hand
Perk 3: Marathon

Same set up as Run and Gun but for longer ranges, this class works well in most maps and means you can camp a little at vantage points and gun people down one after the other without needing to reload as often. Dual mags combined with SoH is amazing, every other reload is lightning fast which means you can practically fire your AK-47 like an LMG without the recoil of an LMG and with your mobility unaffected.

Scavenger is the most under-rated perk in the game, not many people use it but considering it gives you Extended mags attachment without taking an attachment up and extra ammo and refilling your grenades and things, its by far the most useful perk in the game. also since i rarely use anything but primary weapons i never have to pick up another weapon, plus my secondary weapons mags are also extended meaning i can go rape with my pythons if i get bored of my primaries.

When i am near enemies i tend to crouch to prevent noise and then rape then from there.

It really depends what map but normally,

AK74U w/Grip
Python w/ACOG

Hardline Pro
Sleight of Hand Pro
Marathon Pro

Spy Plane (2 Kills)
Napalm (4 Kills)
Chopper Gunner (8 Kills)

Basically I think of it as, I can easily get 2 kills..Then 4 is easy enough as well and then when I get my napalm get another 4 kills for chopper, I take it in steps =D

Im gunna go right ahead and say you can put your hands up and admit to being a noob if you follow this.

And, the Famas, 'if you're good with it'? Is that a joke? My Mum could kill someone with the Famas.

Anyway I can see you put effort into this so its a nice tut and Im sure it will help noobs but personally I'd have a lot more respect for people who stayed away from everything in bold....

Any AR with dual mags and flak jacket and a motion mine and dogs is guaranteed every game.
Call it nooby but when I'm sitting in my chopper with my dogs out I couldn't care less.

To be honest I just try to get myself really pumped up and be really agressive, I never camp, camping gets to a point where CoD becomes a waiting. Always keep moving positions. If you have experience, I recommend you try dropshotting and jumping in the air to throw your opponent's aim off a little bit. Also, always go to a place where there is cover, so that when you reload you can be behind something, it helps tremendously, especially when spawn trapping. Look at Firing range, there a small wall made of wood (near exit/entry of the main building) that you can peep over and get a lot of kills. Also, I say, to be honest, don't be scared to use a Famas (or guns like that) because you will be called a noob or tryhard. Treyarch put it in the game, use it. But, with that said don't go to MW2 and start noob tubing! That's just asking to be called a noob. Also, play on "Tactical" it makes you move much faster.

Cake is a lie
Well guns like Enfield, MPL, 74u, FAMAS, AUG, FAL, Galil, Commando, AK47 have good sights so I would use Dual Mags as an attachment. Also pick up guns as secondary backup. I usually shoot from behind cover, rush the outskirts of enemy spawns, rush for a few kills, then back up. I pay attention to my HUD, NOT JUST CHASE RED DOTS ON SPY PLANE. For instance if I see the skull symbol or a Blue or Green Arrow disappears, I know the enemy is near so I try to listen for footstepts and kill them.

Killstreaks I run when I'm in a party are Blackbird/Rolling Thunder, Chopper, Dogs or Gunship(when it worked)

Killstreaks I run when solo or on a scrub team are Counter Spy Plane or Napalm, Blackbird, Chopper Gunner.

You'll have a better chance at big killstreaks if the enemy is full of splitscreen noobs. I usually play in a party, because the less splitscreen guys you have on your team, the better chance you have...Also don't camp in one spot or camp where your teammates are. I dont suggest camping unless enemy has Chopper or Gunship in the sky....I can't tell you how stupid people are to keep running out when they KNOW a chopper is in the air, ESPECIALLY if they arent using Ghost Pro. It's not worth dying 3-4 times just to try and shoot down a Chopper Gunner. You're especially stupid if you get spawned INSIDE a building but keep running out.

But I have three main types of classes.

I'm in a party, or solo with a decent team class

AK47 or MPL with Dual Mags with Law Secondary to take out Spy/Counter Spy Planes
Hardline Pro
Sleight of Hand Pro
Marathon Pro
Flash, Frag, Claymore

I'm playing solo with a TERRIBLE team class
Commando Silenced &Awesome faceual Mags or Stoner unsilenced. Pyton Secondary
Ghost Pro
Warlord Pro/Sleight of Hand Pro.
Marathon Pro
Concussion, Semtex, Claymore

I'm playing on a big map class

G11 or M16
Hardline Pro or Ghost but I only use Ghost if my team sucks and give up air support, Spy Planes all game.
Steady Aim.
Marathon Pro.

I also have an emergency class. I play Ground War mostly so if in Dom we are struggling for flags class
Galil or MPL with Dual Mags...
Flak Jacket Pro
Sleight of Hand Pro
Tactical Mask Pro.

I use lightweight, marathon and SOH pro, then ( in demolition) I run around behind the enemy spawn and just kill the enemies when they are facing the other way, then I run the other direction cause now they spawn behind me and then I just kill them again, its an easy way for me.
