Not sure if this has been mentioned but if you want to play 2 player splitscreen ONLINE.... just 2 player, and have it count on your leader board all you need is:

1. A second Controller
2. A buddy as a third player so you can start a private match

Create a private match lobby, link up your 2nd controller, Invite your buddy, and start the match. Once the 1st round loads up have your buddy back out of the match and vioala, you have yourself an online splitscreen match.


Might not be very useful but theres a couple glitches which ive found better using this method. Hope this helped

Not true. Ironically enough I actually tried this yesterday. Had a second dummy controller on and was playing with one. The other two kids backed out and I was playing basically solo and let my second controller die every round. I was sitting in the barrier glitch because I went out for a few drinks and came home to see I was signed out of playstation network, but this had nothing to do with the other players leaving as I was at round 20 at this point and they both left by round 7. Just want to know if it saves to the leaderboard so I don't waste my time if I try this again.

Oh, well I'll try this tonight and let you know if it shows up on the leaderboards, if I can beat any of my records on the zombie maps.

i wish they would just put solo leaderboards i mean who the hell cares if they use glitches someone should tweet those guys and ask for solo leaderboards

I'm sorry to say but this does not count toward leaderboard. If you're playing split screen and you're host and all the other players leave your game leaving you and your split screen left..the game will still go on...but it no longer go toward the leader board. I've tried it and it doesn't work. Feel free to try it yourself but I would say don't waste your time thinking itll work like I did lol.

But if the other people leave you will have to fight 3 / 4 player amount of zombies with just 2 people? :confused:

This does not work unless I'm really unlucky and it works for you. If you play with two controllers in find game or private match and you're host and the other two players leave, the game thinks you are playing split-screen. So you won't get ranked. I didn't try it but was left in this situation several times, I didn't want to end game because I was having fun. Anyways me and my 2nd controller were left in game in 3-4 occasions and we went really high, it did not count towards the leaderboard.

Things to note, when you play split-screen you are able to pause the game. But when you are in this so called 'glitch' you cannot pause game, so you may falsely believe this will count towards your leaderboards. It hasn't worked for me many times, I do not believe it will work for you.



I'm pretty sure that after that round, zombies reset accordingly to the number of players left. I noticed this in many games, or maybe I'm wrong. But I am pretty sure zombies reset to the number of players left.
