Not sure if this has been mentioned but if you want to play 2 player splitscreen ONLINE.... just 2 player, and have it count on your leader board all you need is:

1. A second Controller
2. A buddy as a third player so you can start a private match

Create a private match lobby, link up your 2nd controller, Invite your buddy, and start the match. Once the 1st round loads up have your buddy back out of the match and vioala, you have yourself an online splitscreen match.

Might not be very useful but theres a couple glitches which ive found better using this method. Hope this helped

If they leave round 30, you will have to kill 4 players worth of zombies for the round. Round 31 and on will be two player zombies.

I honestly think it would save, I don't see why it wouldn't.

I'm pretty sure that after that round, zombies reset accordingly to the number of players left. I noticed this in many games, or maybe I'm wrong. But I am pretty sure zombies reset to the number of players left.

Nahh i just played shangri la and a friend left at round 10 (pussy) and at the end it still said we played with 3 players and got to round 29 :fyea: on the leaderboard it says it was with 4 players so i dont think it resets

It will say that on the leaderboard but you are in fact playing the two player zombies after the round your friend left is over.

It doesn't matter if they shut down their ps3 or not. If they time out, leave the game to go play another one, or turn off their ps3. It is all the same.

Well, i'd like to throw my own personal experience into this thread.

I know without a doubt if you play a private match with friends it does save to the leaderboard.
I also know that if your friend leaves and its just Randomguy1 and randomguy1(2) that it will continue to play (tested only online not private match.)
I do not know for sure if it will save to leaderboard with just the randomguy1 and randomguy1(2) though.

I would imagine it would, unless the servers are coded to recognize that only those two that remain are from the same IP Address.
You could simply just do what i see a lot of other people do though.. which is go online and just wait till everyone leaves due to you not green-lighting then green-light.
Or simply have 2 friends then have them leave? Not the biggest concern in my book though.

It will not save on the leaderboards if only the split screen players are left

Maggbot timeout!
I just got done trying this. I created a private match, had both my controllers signed in, I invited my friend and started the match. When it started after the red 1 went off the screen he left. I kept playing until round 21 then I died to see if it saved to the leaderboards and it didn't. My highest was round 16 with 3 players (I know I suck at zombies) but it should have been 21 if the split screen glitch worked.
