I don't really know if this is just happening to me or anybody else, but my connection is great overall, my NAT type is open, although every time I start up the game and go to multiplayer, it freezes at the main menu (Playstation Network, Local, Options, Store) for about 5 seconds. Another freezing point is when I open up my in game friends list, it takes like a 7 seconds freeze. This also slows down my XMB when i open it up. During gameplay...(This is when it really pisses me off). Almost every game I play, I will always freeze lag. (it's not my connection) It just gets me mad when I am shooting an enemy and lose because the second I shoot, I start to freeze. For about 5 seconds of freezing, I watch the killcam and it shows me standing still. Anybody know what I can do to fix this problem? By the way, my disc is really clean, no fingerprints or any scratch. It only happens in Black Ops

mine freezes at the main menu coz its checking the hdd for the patch/savedata

also as soon as u click on playstation network it also freezes but thats because its loading the patch hotfix

apart from that all is good


as for the killcam it could just be game lag with either your connection or the host's connection

there not dedicated servers so partys rely on host connection for stability

my freezes on maps my screen goes black then i have to restart my ps3 it gets on my nerves

It happens to me all the time

It's also a pain that when you bring up friend invites with Triangle it tends to freeze as you scroll down the list of names.

You seem to have a problem called Treyarch.
