(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Sorry if this has been posted but I recently got Blops for PS3 after selling it a year ago but the game is laggy online. The frame rate seems its running at like 15fps. The Xbox Blops runs super smooth on the same connection as do MW-MW3 on PS3.

Any help please? It's unplayable.

Yeah black ops was made for xbox and ported to all other consoles, so it runs best on xbox and all others are bad ports..

Some maps run better on blackops than the others , just crappy mad design . And like the guy said before made for Xbox :/

But its ALL maps, I don't remember it being this bad last year, heck I even had a Nuketown game saved in Theater and watching that, it was smooth compared to my recent Firing Range video where the framerate drop is clearly visible.

How can I out of the 120,000 people on PS3 playing only have this issue? Its really unplayable, I ADS and move and the maps are stuttering and framerate seems to be like at 20fps max!

Iv never experienced any lag like that before but my disc got scratched and i would lag like that and get disc read errors the frame rate would drop so low it looks like I am watching pictures move..Maybe its the disc mine had a small scratch and the frame rate would drop to unplayable as you said check the disc man..

3 different discs, 3 different PS3's, 2 different internet connections, 3 different PSN accounts from recently made with no friends to a 5 year old with 80 friends PSN and same issue on ALL combinations.

BLOPs seems the same to me on both systems. I never had problems with it on the PS3. Faulty PS3 maybe?

3 different PS3's, same issue. That's the thing, Blops played smooth on day 1 when it came out apart from the connection issues and the framerate stopping but that issue got minimised after I sold it. This is like constantly choppy. I'd blame it on my PS3 or broadband but played MW, WAW, MW2 and MW3 yesterday and all ran smooth so I think 3arc to blame. Wanted to achieve maximum prestige in WaW and Blops so I'd be max prestige in all CODs on PS3 before the next COD.
