My question is would any mods work offline on a current 1.13 patch a similar way ? If its achievable i think theres a possibility of getting them online risk free.
Ive tried spoofing a 1.02 pkg to read as 1.13 which worked fine, but 1.02 spoofed its still on an older server which wont work but i know im jumping the gun so let me explain the theory.

We all know XP in private match still works, theyve tried to patch it to a degree but it does still work. People used to do it mainly in splitscreen or lan party, in this case its lan party. If your modified eboot and jailbroken console is somehow modded to a 1.13 pkg it WILL put you on the same server as your online PS3 allowing you to connect through lan party without the need of ever having to be "ONLINE". This method definately works on MW2 (yes ive tried) the question is, is a 1.13 pkg modifiable. It might allow us to pass cfg infections through. If you have an opinion on whether this may or may not work i appreciate good feedback but the question i wanna pose is, youve got all the files of the cd backed up on your HDD and the current patch. What can you do ?

If that could work then it leads us onto another question of what would work online without getting banned. We know that mods such as big xp (1 hit instant level 50) have gotten you banned in the past (UnKnown or Hunter cant remember) so i think its important to keep xp glitch tutuorials in mind perhaps before deciding what dvars to set as they clearly point out that you can only boost to a certain level or you get reset. Treyarchs robotic watchdog i personally think detects any changes too great for the parameters theyve set in xp.

Won't work. I have tried running 1.02 on both PS3's with a modded EBOOT on the 3.55 with a bind that activates Ranked Match and 50k XP, it doesn't stick to your online rank. The 1.13 EBOOT cannot be modded either. Unkn0wn had XP lobbies because he can mod the FF, he's one of the few people around here who can.

Thanks Choco much appreciated, question answered and i knew Unknown still had his MW2 patch.ff exploit up his sleeve still, no one ever did figure out how he managed to mod and install a pkg back then without the need of jailbreaking his console.

who says he is modifying the fast files its memory thats being edited and re injected that would be the most probable explanation of xp lobbies on ps3 black ops

Because I know first hand that the FF can be decrypted. I haven't done it myself but know of some who have.

the ff can be decrypted but you cant re-encrypt as the key for that isnt known some think its on the eboot but if it were it would have been found by now and what i said you could write info to the ff while its being loaded into vtrm or a local storage as you will

Was just wondering though, when you tried it in lan party did you try using it in conjunction with the xp in private match glitch ? (get someone with a laggy connection to invite you to his party, highlight the lan party game/ open invite then quickly tap X so you accept and start game at the same time) sorry for bringing it back up but the idea for me was always to combine the two.
