IW researched so much on how to stop the package glitch because everyone released a new way all in one month therefore all been patched it was over used and very annoying when on the recieving end

So now give up looking for a way because there isnt R.I.P Care Package Glitch & Javalin Glitch Both been patched COMPLETELY

Seriously im so happy that the care package got patched.. ITS WAS SO ANNOYING. Every game there was somebody who was camping waiting for 7-8 kills for the EAD. If u cant play without cheating then dont play.. No skill at all

We don’t all say that and neither should you. No offence intended but it seems like you don’t have much experience with glitching/hacking/programming. There are a ton of glitches left in the game that no one has found or that no one is sharing. Such is the nature of these things. They just found “glitch” in the windows OS that allows a hacker to own your machine. This bug has been in windows for over a decade and no one found it or at least did not share it.

IW did not protect, and/or implement, the memory stack for the KS awards properly. That is the reason this glitch works. You trick the game into rewriting the memory stack once you have the CP in your hand. To stop the glitch they issued a “patch” as they can’t easily rewrite and deploy the memory stack. As proof that the glitch is still there just do the CP glitch with a SG and a flash bang and notice that you get a second CP marker. Once you throw the second one the patch nullifies it but you still get it, throw it and you even get XP for it. Ergo the vulnerability of the memory stack is still present but the patch acts as a band aid instead of fixing the root cause. This is the nature of software updates…

So you said “therefore all [have] been patched” but you should have said “therefore all ways of doing it that they know about have been patched”. I think someone will find a new way to do this glitch but I’m not too concerned with it at this point. I loved doing the glitch and it was fun but I killed better without it. You said “it was over used and very annoying when on the receiving end” and I totally agree and then some. 10 EAD back to back (regardless of receiving end) pretty much makes the game unplayable. And when I played without it and some else was using it, it really sucked. It was nice getting 1.09 and evening up the playing field.

I think IW has patched most if not all of the easy ways of doing this glitch so if a new glitch is found I doubt it will be as easy, hence not abused by everyone. But if you think of every action that affects the KS reward memory stack, and every combination of those actions and all the writes to that memory location there is bound to be another in there somewhere. The inner hacker in me wants to find it but I only have a few hours/week to play COD and I’m not wasting what little time I do have on finding glitches!

I dont care, Alot of people like it. And i have plenty of friends, I am just saying that no-one says cheating now a days. Its called glitching.

Technically, based on the terms of service of PSN & XBL, it is cheating; but I think that is bullsheet. If you don't have ladder and need to change a light bulb is it cheating to use a chair? A chair was not meant to change light bulbs but I use it because is it in closer proximity to the bulb I need to change than my ladder is... It’s called being inventive and making use of all the tools at your disposal.

With the CP glitch aside I have no problems with glitchers. I would much rather have a cold blooded glitcher in my game than a nuke booster. Yes the CP glitch got abused and made a legit game hard to come by and yes I’m glad that it is gone but most glitches are not this intrusive. Again, CP glitch aside, how are we to know how the game is meant to be played? IW wrote the code that gives you a CB perk kill for every shot on a heli that is spinning and about to crash. IW wrote the code that allows you to get on top of highrise so which of these was “meant” to be? Who’s to say? The CP glitch has been patched but the other two are still in the game…why?
