Here is my list of simple things anybody can do to improve their game, if you have any more please post them:

1- Learn every map. Try private games as just run about with marathon and lightweight, as knowing all of the nooks and crannies can help you predict where your opponents will be.

2- Sit eye-level to your tv. Some of you may not and do good well that's fine but try sitting eye level and your game should improve.

3- Use suitable killstreaks. If your not the greatest player putting on 7-11-25 isn't a good idea as your never going to achive it. Try killstreaks that your regurlarly achive; for instance 4-5-6.

4- Try out different controls. Many people have never tried moving from the custom sensativity, so don't know on what they are missing out on. Find one that suits you, if that's 2 then fine. Also try out the tactical layout and see if that suits you.

5- Turn your sound up. With the sound of you are turning off one way of finding your enemies. With it a bit higher you shouldn't get killed from behind as much.

6- Enjoy when you play. Probably the most important point yet, if your not having a good time you won't play well. Try a different game or do something else, the whole point is to enjoy yourself so don't get too worked up.

7- Use cover to your advantage. The less of you that is seen, the less of you will be shot. Think about where to move to next and what you can hide behind. Crouch behind things and pop up to shoot every so often. This should reduce your deaths. (idea from Pricey91)

My reasoning is that it is better to achive those killstreaks every game rather than achive certain killstreaks once every 50 games. I said using appropriate killstreaks and if you achive those nukes regularly then stick to them

Make sure you have a class setup with cold blooded, if someone keeps killing you with a shit ass thermal scope you can switch to cold blooded and kill him. I have 2 sniper classes setup like this, both are exactly the same except one has stopping power, the other has cold blooded. Works well too someone killed me yesterday with a thermal sniper, switched to my coldblooded class, went back to the exact same spot i just got killed and he couldn't see me and i killed him. Then killed him again and again and again LOL got a predator missile and killed him yet again it was great ^

you should have a n00btube class as well, if someone on the enemy team is camping just fire your grenade launcher shots and ruin his 10 killstreak xD

i find stopping power a wasted perk on most weapons like: unp 45, 50. cal, SCAR-H, FA-MAS, M16, LMG's, and Shotguns just because thos are already strong and u can use hardline or cold blooded to make the game a bit easier and Commando is a great perk but ninja will prevent campers with heartbeat sensors from getting u. and it is funny when they use one cuz the stare into the heartbeat sensor and dont even realize that ur right in front of them haha!

Think again for the stopping power on the 50 cal. You shoot someone from a distance now you will get a hit marker unless you shoot them in the head, hard to do when they are halfway across the map running. You use stopping power it's a kill 99% of the time unless you miss an shoot them in the foot or something.

i use intervention anyway and i use cold blooded on my .50 cal silenced and i still get one shot one kill about 75% of the time.

im also a sniper stopping power fan. Added pricey91's idea as it is also important

Intervention and 50 cal are pretty much exactly the same in power and accuracy so you using the intervention anyways means nothing. And i'm proud of you that you get a 1 shot kill 75% of the time with the .50 cal silenced and cold blooded you must be pretty special LOL. Do you use that piece of shit thermal scope too? All i know is 1 shot kills seem to be easier with stopping power on when I'm sniping.
