(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); is it just me or has the days of going around and looking for your opponent gone? my first online fps game was the original counter strike for pc, where you and the other team atcually went out "hunting" eachother now it has become a game of who can out camp whom. you kids and your obsession with "stats" in a virtual world thats not even going to matter after the game is gone and dead, are ruining it for everyone. your turning a FPS game into a hippy camp fest singing coombyah around your tents stuffing marshmellows down your throats. i dont mind camping for a while. i do it sometimes too. but thats just if i straight out cant find anyone ill chill in 1 spot for maybe 12 seconds? 20 seconds? get a few kills and move on. but you kids sit in 1 area the whole map really ruin this game. if i find you and kill you you freakin go back to the same spot? over and over again? your basically letting me boost off of you by doing that. it's one thing to do how i said it. and another thing to just not do anything the

the whole point of paying for this game is so you play how you want to and enjoy the game, whether it be ghosting, camping, run and gun, n00btubing etc.
i've never played counter strike so i can't comment on that, but from when i 1st started off as a n00b getting owned on cod4 it was always by a player who was camping/sniping.

my best friend is probably the worst camper you'll ever see, cold blooded every class, one man grenade launchers etc but he enjoys that style of play.
i'm similar to him, i don't know why but every time i die, i get annoyed so i do my best to stay alive.
i don't get bored at all, because im usually top on kills, flawless and owning.

on s&d i love to rush because its viable tactic and you catch them off guard, but in respawn modes you need to get a killstreak going and the easiest way to do that is 2 claymore up and watch over a large part of the map.
you say about when you kill campers that go back to the same place, well i kill run and gunners who keep coming for revenge.
i killed an 8th prestige player, 17 times in TDM yesterday and it was easy. yes i got alot of abuse but i also finished 41-0 in a TDM. that game was great fun,so i miss the point about playing defensively, aka camping to be boring. i never sit in a corner with a shotgun all game, im constantly getting kills.

you have to look at it both ways too, you may hate campers but thats quite simply because they often get the better of you, if you killed them as much as you make out there wouldn't be a problem.
i hate people that run around all game, in front of me, don't expect me to shoot and then abuse me for camping when i get them 10+ times, common sense people.

camping is 4 jerks unless ur using a sniper rifle imo. u mite get good K/S sat in corner wiv a RPD but u can't really be proud of it.

getting a killstreak takes skill no matter how you do it, if someone got a killstreak sat in a corner with an RPD then all credit to them, its the other teams fault for being stupid and incompetent and allowing them to get a streak going.

the funniest thing is u belive that its skillfull.. if none of my team got a mic then they cant say be theres some1 camping in that building be careful , and tha 8th prestige u killed 14 times was probably some 11 year old that had boosted wiv his lil m8

whether you have a mic or not is irrelevent, if hes camping, just check your corners, walk in with a shotgun= his streak is over.
if you can't get him with a shotty, use marathon,lightweight commando.
i don't use a mic and ive never been nuked when ive been in a game from the start.

yes i believe its skillful if hes killing you, it means his strategy is better than yours, no matter your opinion of it. running into the enemy spawn and dieing is not skillful and does not help you or your team.

perhaps he was an 11 year old, either way i owned him.

il admit i camp, no other way to keep my k/d at 4.67 its how i enjoy the game by challenging myself to best my previous k/d.
you wouldn't believe how many little cry babys there are on this game, im going to sit in a nice building 2 claymores and go 30-0 every game until camping is outlawed xD and theres nothing they can do about it. and knowing they are crying about it and messaging me abuse just makes me alugh abit more.

camping is defensive play, it works well. i happen to hate people on my team who run at the enemy in a close match, and i will message them congratulations you proved your not a camper and cost us a win.
an example is skidrow TDM, me and my m8 joined 2500 points down, i get a pave low straight up, he gets his AC130 we bring the game level both with 10+ k/d that game, 7300-7300 in last minute, 2 enemies running right at me, i blast my AUG at them and what happens? defeat! some stupid fool ran at the enemy and cost us that game by a matter of seconds.

if every1 camped you wouldnt get any kills ??? ur just worried about ur K/D ratio LMAO wow u and ur mate camped and nearly WON the game ur ACE...

You are correct, however there's more to it than that. Using CoD as our example, it's a community, and you don't tend to get members of a community purposefully pissing others off for their own amusement.
These people doing the things you mentioned, they're doing nothing wrong, they're just being total pillocks.

the best FPS is coming to XBLA, the original perfect dark, no more crap campers ala mw2 in that game, thats a true FPS right there
