(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); is it just me or has the days of going around and looking for your opponent gone? my first online fps game was the original counter strike for pc, where you and the other team atcually went out "hunting" eachother now it has become a game of who can out camp whom. you kids and your obsession with "stats" in a virtual world thats not even going to matter after the game is gone and dead, are ruining it for everyone. your turning a FPS game into a hippy camp fest singing coombyah around your tents stuffing marshmellows down your throats. i dont mind camping for a while. i do it sometimes too. but thats just if i straight out cant find anyone ill chill in 1 spot for maybe 12 seconds? 20 seconds? get a few kills and move on. but you kids sit in 1 area the whole map really ruin this game. if i find you and kill you you freakin go back to the same spot? over and over again? your basically letting me boost off of you by doing that. it's one thing to do how i said it. and another thing to just not do anything the

on cod5 i run and gunned, 90000+ kills 2.27 k/d ratio

i camp because i enjoy a more defensive play style now, after run and gunning all the way to 10th on WaW i know it gets repetetive fast, i admit i had some great fun doing it, and if this game was similar to cod4 or 5 i'd still run and gun.
but on mw2 you just die too fast, even the good people that run and gun, camp behind stuff after each kill.
the fact that a fully automatic gun is a 2 hit kill proves what i'm saying.

if there is someone that runs and guns(rambo style) and consistently does well against good players then im yet to meet them.
i really enjoy how i play this game, il sit in a good area and either snipe or use my ACR ACOG(favourite gun of the moment lol) and it works a treat, i get tons more kills than the people that run around dieing and i benefit my team loads.

i play TDM by the way, so i am usually the one contributing most to the win.

and my point in the skidrow game, is you go into a close game and run and gun and you will lose, me and my m8 turned a game around in which we were 2500 down, after joining late, it was very close to an absoluely epic win.

my best game is 7500-500, thats 75 kills for our team, and the other team a full team of 6, got 5 between them xD
this game is won by camping, even on objective modes its the killstreaks that win the game.

i cant be bothered 2 keep reasoning wiv u lol somethings u say are true but others are not its a tough game 2play, ppl have the rite 2 play how they want even if they camp but it dont look good, 10th prestige+ camping doesn't set a good example its tactically cheap p.s u dont only play TDM i played demolition on run down wiv u last week lol^

yh i remember i think, that would have been when my m8 paz(Raijin-x) was online, i don't like demo much myself as the team that get 2 defence rounds win most of the time so its a bit unfair imo. 80% of what i play is TDM the rest is mostly s&d, and abit of the other objective modes that people im with play.

i do agree with some of your points, if everyone camped it'd be boring, but its the same for most things, if everyone used the famas or everyone sniped etc
whilst you think 10th prestige camping isn't a good example, when i see a 10th prestige running around with worst scores than low ranked and low prestige players i think thats a bad example.

anyway 2 different styles of play, both with good and bad points. as ive said i enjoy rushing in s&d and run and gunned in both previous cod games, i find actually stopping and sitting back instead of constantly rushing, a nice change of pace and its definately the best way to get massive kill/death differences.

I agree. my friend keeps telling me to download the bad company 2 game because there's actual strategy involved.

I have a feeling when that game is released, the IW servers will be half of what they are now. I, as well as my friends, are waiting for something new. shit, a few of us got Worms 2 in the xbox arcade just so we didn't have to play mw2.

its the way really though how the maps are set out to be honest it was different in cod 4 they just screwed this game up.. i've give up on mw2 waiting for cod 7 now lol

good post. i hate campers. try spectating the start of a FFA and you see half the ppl stay in their spawn waiting on someone to run by. its ruining the game along with other big problems

i made a thread before saying the game would be a lot more fun if there were no leaderboards since ppl care about it too much so they camp, boost, cheat etc to be on top and to be famous to gamers that theyll never meet and will be forgotten. the game makers ruin the game aswell like adding new killstreaks, screw u IW, by adding those obviously it will make people camp and get them

When i got to 6th prestige i quit mw2 because of the campers and now im playing cod4 my ranking was in the 40000 in everything besides accuarcy but one day i just quit because of the campers and im playing cod4 and it pwns its better then it use to be the people who play it are die hard gamers.

that game is still the best i completly agree^ i miss my n64
