more specifically the intervention.
is no longer a 1 hit 1 kill gun with the fmj unless the person you shot at already has damage taken to them.
i like to quick scope and i know when i miss or not and i wasn't missing my shots because i got the hit markers, even at point blank range (less than 5 meters)
why does iw have to mess with the sniper rifles? it's bad enough that they lack the power of their real life counterparts, yet alone being weak without fmj attached, you need 2 shots to the head to kill without fmj. wtf?

i didnt notice a change nd i use it all the time nd go in, but they did change the models akimbo which is gay but w.e., nd FMJ does make the gun stronger, use it without stoping power nd u'll see, it takes 3 bullets to kill someone to the chest with stoping power without it takes 4, without stoping power nd FMJ on its 3 shots

I hate hit markers I get them all the time when I should be getting kills. Iwould always be the one with the most assists in a game

Yeah it does seem like its getting worse, hopefully they put the power back in the snipers.

sniper power is to do with distance (in mw2 anyway)
ill use wasteland size as an example,
1/4 of the map distance u got about a 20% chance to get hit marks,
2/4 range its about 3-6% hit marks
3/4 range its extremely rare to get a hit mark even when quick or no scopeing
at maximum distance 4/4 of the map size yeh if u hit its about 50/50 hit marks/kill ratio

the medium (long) range for the intervention atleast is half of wasteland for maximum power

id make a vid of it buti dont have a Capture Card

imo its a little different for xbox, ive got both ps3 and xbox the snipers on xbox seem to "auto aim" even if u miss a little and have more power and still get the kill

forgot to add, quick scope or no scopeing gives u atleast another 35% chance of geting a hit marker over hard scopeing

thank god at least someone here knows that adding FMJ to the intervention ADDS DAMAGE even when its NOT going through a wall or an object. im in my 4th prestige going on my 5th and used nothing but my sniping class for the majority of the game. my sniping class has the perks slight of hand pro/cold blooded pro/ and commando pro and intervention USED to always be 1 hit kill from chest up without stopping power and using FMJ's now its not. its 2 hits anywhere chest up including headshots sometimes. i use my own tactic for smiping where i have a dot on my tv and that is ecaxtly center of the sniper scope, so i know where im aiming/going to hit before i even

fire the damn gun. i always aim for chest incase i get shot at my aim goes straight to a headshot kill. its sad that i have to replace my cold blooded with stopping power and still add FMJ's so a sniper rifle can get a 1 hit kill, the way it should at all times at any distance. for the exception of the entire lenght of the map. maybe 3/4 the map distance of wasteland it should be 100% lethal at all times. fu.ck a bunch of this 2 shots to the head just to kill someone. and the .50 is way to underpowered. if you got hit in the chest with a .50 cal in real life you would have the size of a basketball of a hole on your chest, so that gun irritates the shit out of me to use in the game. i refuse to use the .50cal because of that reason, that it is so unrealistic in a combat game based on a degree of realism.

I wouldn't say 2 hits to the head without FMJ. Well at least for me.

I get loads of hitmarkers from across maps. In highrise at the start of the game, I've killed over half their team or maybe even their full team with a single sniper bullet (by quickscoping). I've done this several times and still haven't got All Pro.

all pro is bugged an yea if u quick scope an get double trip/colat it the only factor that matters if u kill the first person,
for example if u hit player #1 in the chest and player #2 if the arm
u will still get both kills,
but if u stood player #2 infront of #1, and hit #2 in the arm and #1 in the chest u got a 50/50 chance of getting eather kill

for what ive seen/ been bullshitted on it only matters for colat/triple/double where u hit the first person,
shoot player #1 in the face.. shoot #2 in the toe both will still die hit markers carry over or sumthin if they are close enough together for example the start of a sabotage game on highrise every1 mass runs
