Oh I think I know what happened. He called a harrier and when he called his air drop, the harrier got in the way, the package landed on it and stayed floating when the harrier left.

nah it defo wasnt a harrier as the mw2 mythbusters tried this and failed with a harrier, could be someone either managed to shoot out the airdrop b4 it realesed it or took out ac10 or gunner

I had a care package get stuck in the ground one day, I couldn't even see what it was. It was like it was still falling because it didn't show up on the map or anything.

ive seen this, well kinda, it goes halfway in the ground but bounces back up
