(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey Guys I was wondering if there was a way of knowing if you are the host? Also is there a way to automatically obtain host from the start of the game?

Is there a way to automatically get host from host migration?

I am asking these becuase I want to try the net tools lag switch in a private match.DONT WORRY I am NOT a rAHtard and gonna try and use this in public ranked matches.I play fair and always have and always will but I just though it would be fon to mess around with in private matches with friends ya know.

If you have a great connection, like I do, you will be host most of the time. There are methods out there that can also help you cheat the system and lag it out so you become host, but if your connection is so horrible, host migration will SOMETIMES change host.

I have noticed that the host has a 5 bar signal and everyone else has a 1 bar signal just before the game starts, then all the signals go to normal.

Yea but if you are not host, sometimes you miss out on this lol it's only at the very start of the countdown.

Yeh that's right, but also if you're a little late at pressing select usually the person with the best connection is host although everyone elses is still medium/good.

If you get into a game and there is 10 seconds of waiting before game starts, you are the host...

If you join game with in 8-6 seconds, you are NOT the host...

To see host, press SELECT right after you respaw - a host should have a FULL green bar, while every one has 1 red dot.

Pleas Rep+ lol

Yeah, building on IV_Tha_Killa's post, there are a few ways in determining whether you are the host on PS3:

1) You start the game before anybody else (you normally go from Synchronising Game Settings to Waiting for other Players really quickly)

2) You have full connection when all the other 11 players "red bar" at 2-3 seconds before the game starts.

3) You rarely lagg within the game unless you start downloading on your own internet.

Although sometimes, this is not always true.

If one of your friends who lives close by to you is host, you still may have full connection. This is because MW2 bases it off of how close you are to the host (as I've heard, don't quote me on this please) so surely, if your the host, you are the closest to the host as you can be. Happy

It's a stupid way of telling if you are the host (and really, its stupid) but if you leave and it goes to host migration, you WERE the host. Smile

Please +rep if this helps.
