For Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 players there will be a new patch that patches various things. They go onto say that they will be patching:

- The glitches on the new DLC stimulus package.
- Fire rate of the Intervention.
- 10th prestige hack (PS3 users only)
- ability to lock game sessions so your friends can't join your session. Thanks to xJerry-

They say they got this information from Infinty Ward's own FourZeroTwo. I am just telling you what the magazine said so if I'm wrong don't hate me it's what they said and I am trying to warn you to get the things they are patching done in case this is real.

Will they ban 10th prestigers?

No they will patch doing the hack.

They are also gunna patch the 'join session' option on ps3

@fourzerotwo Is it possible for PS3 to get a "Join game in Progress: Allowed/Disabled"? This is an obstacle during competitive online games.

@sReaction Yes, I believe this will be in the PS3 patch that comes just prior to PS3 DLC.

cant wait for join ses thingy

I was in a locked free for all game online lol, we just boosted for like 6 hours.

How was it locked? i know you can lock private games but..?

Me and my friends had no idea we where all just going to boost for a bit and when we all went in the lobby nobody joined. When the game started we just killed each other for 1 whole game and still nobody joined.

Finally, locking the lobby's been waiting on you.

They can't patch the 10th Prestige hack, because we can just delete the patch and use Patch Blocker again.. :|
